Towards The Poetics Of Everyday Life

Chinese Morder and Contemporary Novels, underwent from refusal to return daily life as a whole. In a sense,the attitude towards daily life contains the cultural context, determining the form of literature, values and aesthetics. In this thesis, "daily life" as the theoretical point of view, classifies the literary narrative into grand narrative and daily life narrative,which are two basic types of narrative in Chinese Morder and Contemporary Novels, and experienced a significant disputes and resistance. It is contended that, when daily life narrative tries to rebel and escape from the conventions on the text of the particular culture in the contemporary era, and its presentation makes an impact on the basic trend of contemporary Novels.This thesis Consists of three parts, the Introduction explains the theoretical foundation and some key concepts. The main body of the first chapter traces the daily life of the twentieth century novels which were rewritten by some authors in various ways, analyzes the reasons of rewriting, and studies this rewrite how to cause the difficulties to the contemporary literature crisis.Chapter two discloses the transition of daily life narrative novels from the "art of utilitarianism" to "style" of writing, with an analysis of the "xinxieshi" novels, the "xinshengdai" Novels and the new century Novels according to time clues. The third chapter analyzes the form of the material, physical and sex which used to be forgotten topics, meanwhile, it is concerned with their variety of complex how to reveal the social practice and literature concept changes in a transitiional period. Chapter Four Selects "xungen" literature, "xianfeng" Titerary and "xin lishi" novels as the research objects, and discusses the crack and disputes between the grand narrative and the everyday life narrative. Based on Han Shaogong’s "Maqiao Dictionary",Wang Anyi’s "changhege" and guizi’s novels. chapter five analyzes the depth of everyday life narrative in contemporary literature. The final part makes a conclusion for the daily life narrative from both positive and negative sides, proposing to establish the poetics of the daily life narrative.
