The Wonderful Work Of Daily Narrative In The New Period

In the new period of the Chinese contemporary literature, daily life gradually concerns many writers who ponder over and write about it. So the daily narrative gradually takes on various forms. Wang Anyi, a famous female writer in the new period, keeps a keen eye on daily life and writes a lot relevant scenes in her novels. She holds a clear viewpoint of the daily narrative, and her daily narrative boasts some distinctions in this fresh era of literary. Therefore, it is of some significance to do research on this topic. This paper tries to explore the daily narrative of Wang Anyi's novels against the background of the daily narrative in the new period. After reading some of her works, the author attempts to interpret her consciousness about the daily narrative, then classify and analyze the objects of the daily narrative, and further illustrates her thought on the daily narrative. Finally, the author contemplates the daily narrative of the whole modern literature.This paper falls into four chapters apart from the introduction and conclusion.The introduction briefly examines the background of the times in which "daily narrative" comes into being, defines the conception of "daily narrative", and then comments on the status quo of the relevant research on this topic. By perusing and taking Wang Anyi's novels as a whole, the author studies the value and significance of the daily narrative in her works.Chapter one mainly deals with the historical background of the daily narrative's development, analyzes its absence and return in the history of the Chinese modern and contemporary literature, and also introduces the background and the situation from which the daily narrative arises.Chapter Two focuses on Wang Anyi's view on the daily narrative. The author first looks into the reason why her daily narrative was formed and then summarizes this process. Based on such explorations, the author deeply expounds the consciousness of the daily narrative in her novels.On the basis of Wang Anyi's specific texts, Chapter Three generalizes the symbolic scenes of daily life and interprets their value. In her novels, city and village are two co-existing daily life spaces. They differ not only in the sense of space, but also in their connotation. The description about female daily life is one of the main characteristics of her novels. This chapter classifies and analyzes the vivid female images.In the fourth chapter, the author explores the rationality in the daily narrative of Wang Anyi's works. Her daily narrative consists of the three separate levels which are fighting for survival, striving against destiny independently and looking forward to the rationality. These three levels constitute the necessary processes that all the people in their normal life must overstep.The conclusion, by the research on the Wang Anyi's daily narrative, further explains and contemplates the development of the daily narrative in the new era of the Chinese contemporary literature.
