Research On Community Home-based Elderly Care Service Management In Yunnan Province Based On Improving The Physical And Mental Health Of The Elderl

The aging situation in Yunnan Province is getting more and more serious,and the proportion and absolute amount of the aging population is growing rapidly,so there is a wide concern about how to provide elderly services suitable for the elderly in Yunnan Province with their own characteristics.As the elderly grow older,their physical and mental health are declining.In the current "9073" elderly care model,due to the dominant "4-2-1" family structure,the number of senior citizens,widows and orphans,and empty nest families is increasing,and the pressure on family elderly care is increasing,thus giving rise to the more urgent demand for social elderly care services.Good management of community elderly services is important to improve the physical and psychological health of the elderly,and also helps to reduce the elderly care expenses of individuals,families and society.This study constructs a research framework based on social embeddedness theory,Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,community care theory and other related theories to measure the health status of the elderly from both physiological and psychological aspects.This study conducted a field survey on more than 4,000 elderly people selected from several communities in Kunming,Yuxi and Qujing,Yunnan Province,to understand the current physical and psychological health status of the elderly and the utilization of community home care services under different community characteristics.By using multi-layer logit regression model and chain mediated effect analysis,the study found that community home care services positively influenced the physical and mental health of the elderly,different types of elderly care services significantly influenced different health indicators of the elderly,and community home care services directly or indirectly influenced the physical and mental health of the elderly through social support and family and friends support of the elderly.Based on the analysis of the empirical results,this study proposes relevant recommendations for community elderly service management to improve the physical and mental health of the elderly: 1)effectively integrate elderly service resources with embedded elderly services,enrich and refine the content of community elderly service supply by embedding elderly services in the community,expand the coverage of elderly services,improve the relevance of service supply,and make it match the service needs of the elderly in the community 2)effectively integrate the government,social organizations,market and community resources,relieve the pressure of single body supply,promote the synergy of resources and sustainable supply of embedded senior care services,realize the positive interaction between the government,society and community,sink senior care services to the community,expand the service supply of multiple bodies,improve the service supply efficiency,and achieve The government,society and the community will interact with each other,expand the service supply of multiple actors,improve the efficiency of service supply,and realize the high-quality,balanced and rapid development of embedded senior care services in Yunnan Province.
