The Study Of Liang Sicheng's Architecture Art Thought

Liang Sicheng is the most important scholar in the study of Chinese architectural culture.He used western scientific and technological means to study Chinese ancient architecture,explore the essence of ancient architecture culture,analyze the aesthetic thoughts of Chinese ancient architecture,and finally make Chinese ancient architecture culture shine brilliantly in the field of world architectural culture.In the face of Chinese architectural landscape since modern times,a large number of skyscrapers,western modern buildings and imitation of Chinese and western classical buildings stand on the streets of first-tier and second-tier cities.Although we walk in different cities,it brings us the "cookie-cutter" face of the city.It is difficult to see local architecture with its own national genes.Due to the rapid development of modern cities,the planning and construction of many cities have sharp conflicts with people's functional needs,such as serious traffic problems,population and land problems,air pollution and so on.Facing the dilemma of Chinese architectural culture today,we need to re-read Liang Sicheng's architectural artistic thought and explore the formation process of liang Sicheng's architectural artistic thought.To sum up the theoretical system of Liang Sicheng's architectural art thought,comprehensively analyze and excavate liang Sicheng's ideological changes in architectural education,architectural design,ancient city protection,urban planning,architectural aesthetics and other aspects,and excavate the value and significance of Liang Sicheng's architectural art thought to today.The dissertation consists of three sections: introduction,main text and conclusion.The introduction part contains the background,theme,literature review,and the significance of the research.While the main text section contains five chapters.The first chapter analyzes the origin and formation of Liang Sicheng's architectural art thought.By starting with exploring Liang Sicheng's childhood family circumstances,living environment,and cultural background,the roots of Liang Sicheng's outlook of world and life is revealed.So is the subtle influence of his father Liang Qichao's cultural literacy,religious beliefs and other behaviors on him.Then by analyzing the educational background of Liang Sicheng who went to the United States in 1924 to study Western architectural culture which shaped Liang Sicheng's western architectural thoughts under the background of traditional Chinese culture,the sources of his artistic architectural thoughts are revealed thoroughly.The second chapter describes Liang Sicheng's exploration and practice in architectural art.The analysis is carried out from architectural education thought,architectural design thought,ancient city protection and urban planning thought of Liang Sicheng.After Liang Sicheng returned to China,we can see the transformation of his architectural education thought in the process of establishing the Department of Architecture of Northeast University to the Department of Architecture of Tsinghua University;His architectural design works all reflect his unique architectural aesthetics,including Jilin Provincial University Library and Jianzhen memorial hall;Based on the analysis of Liang Sicheng's thought of ancient city protection and urban planning in the 1930s-1950 s,Liang Sicheng's aesthetic thought of ancient city protection and new city construction is explored from the perspective of architectural aesthetics.The third chapter describes the construction of Liang Sicheng's architectural theory combining Chinese and Western.Liang sicheng took official architecture as the main research object,took structural rationalism as the research standard,and firmly believed that the essence of Chinese architecture is attributed to its structural rationality.From the aspects of liang Sicheng's research and investigation of Chinese ancient architecture,architectural history view,rationalism of Chinese wooden frame structure,national form and socialist content,the construction of liang Sicheng's architectural theory combining Chinese and western architecture is explored.The fourth chapter explains Liang Sicheng's aesthetic thought of ancient architecture.Liang Sicheng used modern scientific and technological means to carry out the research of Chinese ancient architecture,the analysis of the essence of ancient architectural culture and the exploration of ancient architectural aesthetics.Based on the unique architectural temperament and people's aesthetic psychology of Chinese ancient architecture,Liang Sicheng put forward the artistic characteristics of Chinese ancient architecture and expounded the aesthetic space artistic conception of Chinese ancient architecture.In this chapter,four aspects are taken as the starting point,including the aesthetic meaning of Chinese architectural elements,the aesthetic space of Chinese architecture,the ideal and empathy of architecture,and the interworking relationship among architecture and music,painting and clothing,so that the comprehensive and detailed analysis of Liang Sicheng's architectural art aesthetic thought is carried out,and the theoretical system of Liang Sicheng's architectural aesthetic thought is combed.The fifth chapter is the inspiration of Liang Sicheng's architectural artistic thought,which re-examines the foresight of his thoughts based on the status quo of modern and contemporary architectural culture.Modern and contemporary Chinese architecture is still pursuing Western modern architectural styles,which is far greater than paying attention to the characteristics of the national architecture.Considering the inheritance of national architectural thoughts through Pei Leoh Ming and Wang Shu who continued to explore and present the national forms of contemporary Chinese architectures through their works,the continuation of Liang Sicheng's national architectural thought still has a long way to go.Facing up the status quo of modern and contemporary Chinese cities,Liang Sicheng's artistic thought for urban planning shows more and more significance for practical guiding.
