In the 21 st century,the multi-point breakthroughs and integration of information technology,biotechnology,new energy technology and other disciplines have laid the foundation for a new round of industrial revolution.With the deep integration of the new generation of information technology an d traditional industries,product innovation is developing towards diversification,compound,intelligence and miniaturization.For example,the combination of biotechnology and nanotechnology has opened up R&D and market space for a variety of breakthrough new products such as biochips,molecular motors and biological probes.The "Internet finance" generated by the integration of Internet technology and information technology has created many new financial business models,such as payment,financing and information intermediary services.Another example is the functional food industry created by the fusion of pharmaceutical technology and food manufacturing technology,and the cosmeceutical industry created by the fusion of pharmaceutical technology and cosmetics manufacturing technology.Therefore,technology fusion has very important research significance and scientific value in guiding major disruptive technological innovation and new product development.However,due to the inherent fuzziness and complexity of the fusion phenomenon,the measurement and analysis of technology fusion has always been a difficult problem in academic research.In the past,most scholars' researches on technology fusion mainly focus on qualitative description,such as discussing the technology development trend of cross-fusion in different technology fields,analyzing the characteristics of technology cross-domain fusion process,and studying the application and development of cross-domain fusion technology.In recent years,with the increasing importance of technology fusio n,a few foreign scholars began to study it through patent citation analysis,patent co-discovery analysis,big data analysis and text mining.Based on this,this paper combines the theories of technological innovation,dynamic ability,resource dependence and standard economics to carry out empirical research on the relationship between cross-disciplinary technology integration and enterprise new product development performance through the sample data of all new energy vehicle production enterprises in Chi na's automobile industry.First of all,this paper analyzes the formation and evolution of cross-domain technology fusion and its inherent characteristics from the perspective of the nature of technology and the internal mechanism of technology combination evolution,then,based on the relationship between technical elements,and the perspective of knowledge reorganization and external kn owledge acquisition,it clearly analyzes the impact of different technology fusion models on the performance of new produ ct development,and also examines the intermediary effect of technology standardization capabilities between cross-domain technology integration and enterprise new product development performance.and the regulatory effect of external market volatility and technology volatility between cross-domain technology convergence and new product development performance.Finally,by collecting the panel data of patents,standards,new products and enterprise properties of all new energy vehicle production enterprises in China's automobile industry from 2005 to 2017,the paper analyzes the direct impact of cross-disciplinary technology integration on the performance of new product development,the intermediary role of tec hnology standardization ability,and the regulating role of environmental turbulence.The main contents including:(1)Analyze the formation and evolution of cross-domain technology fusion.With the new generation of information technology and the deep int egration of other walks of life,technological innovation has changed from the traditional scientific breakthrough mode to technology integration.Searching for relevant knowledge in other fields to carry out technology integration has become a key way for enterprises to break through technological constraints,cope with market changes and realize innovative development.Firstly,this paper analyzes the causes of cross-domain technology fusion through technology innovation diffusion induction,industry-university-research cooperation promotion,demand structure upgrade pull,and business model innovation drive.Secondly,from the perspective of the relationship between technological elements,the paper analyzes the formation of the fusion of alternative and complementary technologies.At the same time,the evolution of cross-domain technology fusion is analyzed from the perspective of life cycle theory,and the main features of new and old technology fusion are described.Finally,the process of cross-domain technology fusion is analyzed by means of modeling and simulation,and it is pointed out that the relationship between technology elements will inevitably lead to a differentiated technology fusion model.(2)Analyze the direct influence of cross-domain technology fusion on enterprise new product development performance.Firstly,from the perspective of the relationship between technology elements,the different effects of complementary and alternative technologies on the development performance of new prod ucts are discussed.This paper analyzes the influence of the integration of new and old technologies on the development performance of new products,and puts forward the corresponding hypothesis.Finally,in order to verify the hypothesis,this paper collected the data of all new-energy vehicle manufacturers in China's automobile industry from 2005 to 2017,and made an empirical analysis of the research hypothesis by using the negative binomial regression model of fixed effects through STATA software.(3)Based on the theory of technology innovation and standard economics,this paper mainly analyzes the mediating effect of technology standardization ability on the relationship between cross-domain technology fusion and new product development performance.Firstly,the influence of complementary technology fusion and alternative technology fusion on enterprise technology standardization capability is analyzed,and the influence of new and old technology fusion on enterprise technology standardization capability is investigated.Secondly,the paper analyzes the influence of technical standardization ability on the performance of new product development,and discusses the mediating effect of technical standardization ability from static analysis perspective and dynamic analysis perspective respectively,and puts forward corresponding hypotheses.Finally,the empirical study is made through the data of all new energy vehicle production enterprises in China's automobile industry.(4)Analyze the adjusting effect of external environment turbulence.Firstly,the moderating effects of technical volatility and market volatility are discussed from the perspective of static analysis.Secondly,from the perspective of dynamic analysis,the adjustment effects of technical volatility and market volatility are analyzed respectively,and corresponding hypotheses are proposed.Finally,the empirical test is conducted through the panel data of all new-energy vehicle manufacturers in China's automobile industry from 2005 to 2017.Finally,on the basis of empirical test conclusions,combined with the results of the full text,the paper summarizes and puts forward the main findings of this paper,mainly achieved the following innovation results:(1)The research topic is relevant to the national development strategy and forward-looking,and this paper analyzes the important influence of cross-cutting technology fusion on the performance of new product development from the perspective of the essence of technology and the innovation mechanism of technology fusion evolution and its internal characteristics.This research not only makes up for the research gap of the impact of cross-disciplinary technology integration on the performance of new product development,but also complements the theories of technological innovation and strategic management,and provides new ideas for enterprises to carry out innovative strategies effectively,improve the performance of new product development and accelerate the pace of industrial transformation and upgrading.(2)The research perspective is unique,and the research content has some new ideas,this paper for the first time based on the relationship between the technology elements and knowledge reorganization and external knowledge of the perspective of technology integration into four different models,and further analyze the impact of different technology integration models on the performance of new product development,from the management level to remind enterprises of the choice of technological innovation path,to improve the independent innovation ability of enterprises to provide a new way of thinking and perspective,Managers can better organize learning and innovation activities by gaining a deep understanding of the relationships between the technical elements of the enterprise.(3)This paper discovers for the first time that the ability of technology standardization plays an important intermediary role in the relationship between cross-disciplinary technology integration and new product development performance,and analyzes in depth th e influence of different types of technology integration mode on the performance of new product development in enterprises under the influence of techn ology standardization ability.On the one hand,it expands the research path from technological innovatio n to product development,and on the other hand,it is also perfect and rich in the theory of standard modularization and innovation.(4)The measurement method is scientific and reasonable,and it is innovative.This paper combines pat ent co-existing analysis,panel data model and negative two regression models to carry out empirical research on cross-domain technology fusion and new product development performance.On the one hand,the innovation of measurement methods for different tec hnology fusion modes is realized in theory,and on the other hand,it provides quantitative prediction tools for the evolution of enterprise technology.
