The construction of digital mining model and application technology is one of the core contents in technology system of open-pit coal mine digitalization.It is the foundation of geological data efficient,integration,visualization management and digital mining design.It has important significance for exploitation of resources to maximize the benefits,improve the recovery rate of resources,improve the engineering design,the management and decision-making level.Based on detailed analysis of the characteristics of 3D spatial data model and it’s applicability,combined with the geometry and spatial dimension features of the open-pit coal mine general geological objects,according to the need of the open-pit coal mine digital mining model construction purpose and application,a 3D spatial data model using TIN form multi-layer DEMs and block mixed was designed.According to the characteristics of open-pit coal mine general geological objects modeling data,the open-pit coal mine geological database logic structure and the corresponding logical relation model was designed.In consideration of the original drilling data is difficult to meet the need of the geological model construction,a geological data interpolation method based on PSO-RBF neural network was proposed and applied in the open-pit coal mine stratum data interpolation.According to the characteristics of the open-pit coal mine stratum modeling data,a constrained edges priority stratum DEM construction algorithm was designed and implemented,the existing flat triangles cause the terrain expression distortion,so a improved flat region searching and correction algorithm was proposed.On the basis of the constructed 3D stratum model,using the Octree structure,the open-pit coal mine geological object block model was constructed,the unit block’s property was assigned according to the spatial logic relations of the unit block center and stratum model.Spatial topology description of TIN is the technology base of the Open-pit coal mine digital model application,a fast TIN topological structure reconstruction algorithm using hash function and AVL tree was implemented.Isoline graph is the one of the important basic geological maps in the porocess of the open-pit coal mine digital mining design,based on the constructed stratum DEM model,combined with fast TIN topology structure reconstruction technology,a isoline fast tracing algorithm was proposed and implemented by constructing the TIN trianglar facet vertex attribute value red-black tree.Intersection of the stratum DEM model is the core technology of the open-pit coal mine mining design in the 3D graphical environment,based on the spatial index and AABB bounding box collision detection technology,a fast stratum DEM intersection algorithm was designed and implemented,the algorithm has been applied to the profile drawing,development system and stripping plan design.Based on the key algorithm and technology research,the dissertation also researched on the stratigraphic model cutting and update,stripping and mining volume calculation.Finally,the open-pit coal mine digital mining software system was developed and applied in the open-pit coal mine design practice.
