A Research On The Revelation Of Agger's Alienated Consumption Theory To Beautiful China

Beautiful China is a new concept put forward for the first time in the report of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.It discusses the construction of ecological civilization from the height of the overall layout,which shows that our party has a deeper understanding of the overall layout of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and also shows the spirit of the community of human destiny of the Chinese nation responsible for its children and the world.In 1979,Agger Ben(1952-,professor of Sociology from the University of Texas,hereafter referred to as Agger)made specific elucidation in his work Western Marxism:An Introduction as an important representative of ecological Marxism.Agger predicted that alienated consumption would directly lead to ecological crisis and ultimately threaten human survival by explaining the concept,essence and harm of Alienated Consumption and pointing out a way out for human beings to build an ecological society.Agger's theory of alienated consumption is not only helpful for us to grasp the essence of Alienated Consumption and the development trend of contemporary capitalism,but also enlightening for us to understand and solve the ecological crisis caused by the phenomenon of alienated consumption in China,which providing a trail for the construction of a beautiful China in the new era.Under the guidance of Marxism,the thesis analyzes systematically expound Agger's Alienated Consumption Theory and elaborates its essence,consequences and solutions of alienated consumption,its limitations and its significant enlightenment values of the construction of beautiful China on the basis of reading the original works and related documents.The thesis consists of four chapters.Firstly,it expands and deepens our understanding of ecological Marxism.This chapter holds the essence of ecological Marxism from the following aspects:the position of Agger's Alienated Consumption Theory as the the core points of Ecological Marxism,its theoretical height beyond other Ecological Marxist counterparts,and its inheritance and development of Marxist theory.Secondly,it alerts and improves the understanding of China's Alienated Consumption.The chapter observes China' s social consumption phenomena,focuses on the derivation and development of alienated consumption concepts,and analyses the causes and harm of alienated consumption.The purpose of this aspect is further grasping the historical law of the emergence,development and extinction of alienated consumption from four aspects:"Capital and Alienated Consumption","Technology and Alienated Consumption","Culture and Alienated Consumption" and "Labor and Alienated Consumption".In the next part,it supports and deepens the understanding of the goal of building a beautiful China.This chapter expounds the reference value of the contribution of Agger's Alienated Consumption Theory of beautiful China by analyzing the "green development" goal,the "five in one" overall layout and the"ecological red line" warning system.Last but not least,it promotes and strengthens the ability to the construction and cultivation of Ecological Personality.This chapter expounds the Enlightenment of Agger's Alienated Consumption Theory on the long-term guarantee mechanism of the cultivation of Chinese socialist ecological personality from the three aspects of the goal of ecological personality,the construction of ecological personality and the cultivation of ecological personality.The Enlightenment from the above four chapters shows Agger's theory of alienated consumption to the construction of beautiful China from the perspectives of theoretical reference,practical problems,target interpretation,and permanent mechanism,and reveals the global nature of the ecological destiny community.
