Neutron nuclear data explains the interaction between neutron and nucleus.It takes much effect on nuclear science and technology.With the development of research in energy utilization,medical treatment and astrophysics related to nuclear in recent years,more accuracy neutron nuclear data is necessary.A number of equipment for neutron nuclear data measurement have been built around the world,such as the WNR of LANSCE in the U.S.and the n_TOF in Europe.Several neutron-induced charged particle emission measurements and fission reaction measurements have been carried out based on these equipment.To promote the development of nuclear technology research,neutrons with a high-throughput,wide-energy spectrum for nuclear data measurement is provided by the China Spallation Neutron Source Back-n White Neutron Source.The nuclear reaction between neutrons and nucleus can produce a variety of charged particles.In order to obtain accurate nuclear data,it is a key step to identify different charged particles.There is an effective method to distinguish different products based on the incident neutron energy,the solid angle of the product movement,the energy of the heavy nucleus,and the ionization energy loss(dE/dx)of the light nucleus.The Time Projection Chamber(TPC)is a device that uses the drift time of electrons to obtain the spatial position of charged particles.The track covered by a solid angle of 4? and the energy of the nuclear reaction product can be measured by using a high-resolution Micromegas detector on the end cap of TPC.It is possible to utilize the TPC cathode signal to time the incident neutron.Combining the neutron generation time and the flight distance the incident neutron energy can be obtained.Therefore,the four parameters required for particle identification are acquired.In order to achieve accurate measurement of neutron nuclear data,it is planned to build a TPC-based nuclear data measurement device in Back-n,mainly for the measurement of neutron-induced charged particle emission reaction and fission reaction.The device can realize charged particle measurement,neutron beam measurement,and neutron resonance photography.The device is called multi-purpose time projection chamber(MTPC).It is discussed in this thesis for the electronic readout method of MTPC deviceFirstly,the structure MTPC device is described.The key technique which needs to be realized in readout electronics has been raised by analyzing the physical goals of MTPC device.Then,the electronics readout system for TPC detector around the world is investigated.After summarizing the readout architecture and method used in each experiment,a generic and expandable electronic readout scheme is proposed based on the characteristics of beam at Back-n and the target of MTPC device.A readout system based on this scheme can measure the flight time of neutron and the tracks and energy of nuclear reaction products.As a pre-research for the MTPC device,members of the cooperation group have built a TPC-based prototype detector,which is mainly used to measure light nuclear reactions.The readout requirement for the prototype detector is analyzed in the thesis.Based on the expandable readout scheme for the MTPC device and the determined readout requirements for the prototype TPC,a readout scheme can be easily obtained.An electronics readout system has been discussed and developed based on the scheme.After completing the prototype readout electronics system,the exhaustive tests on the electronics has been carried out.The results show the readout electronics system meets all the requirements of the prototype TPC.After that,a joint test has been carried out at Back-n which verified the ability of readout system to get the track and energy of charged particles.Different nuclear reaction products can be distinguished well.The test results show the prototype readout electronics system can realize the measurement of neutron nuclear data.Therefore,the function of readout scheme for MTPC device is also verified which provides a technical supporting for the realization of the readout system of the MTPC device.
