This dissertation describes a research study that was conducted to investigate the full dimension of the phenomenon of intrapreneurship from the perspective of employees within a successful company with an explicitly stated corporate value of intrapreneurship.The study used a grounded theory approach to answer the research question, "What are the dimensions of a successful intrapreneurial corporate culture?" The goal of the study was to generate a theory about how the various dimensions of intrapreneurship interact to create the desired outputs of innovation and increased shareholder value. The study was intended to enhance the knowledge base of the psychological profession with respect to the phenomenon of intrapreneurship and to provide insights that could guide the implementation of intrapreneurship in workplaces. This dissertation presents the research problem, reviews the existing literature on the topic, details the methodology used to answer the research question, describes the research study and its findings, and discusses how the results relate to past research on the topic. The study found that intrapreneurship is a unique process distinct from entrepreneurship. It is a complex interplay between the capabilities of people and a context that is largely driven by a company Leadership's ability to set the guidelines and live the example of intrapreneurship on a daily basis.
