Abstract/Summary:
At the stage of the establishment of a process design, environmental dimension takes a prominent place. Entire life cycle is important to define its consumption of natural energy resources and its impact on the environment. Many tools are available but not used by businesses and the community, due to the level of proficiency of expert level, especially when it comes to environmental assessment multi-criterion that requires a lot of data, time and resources. This may slow down some enterprises, especially SMEs, to sustain the integration of environment into the design of the product. Furthermore, few tools are addressing idea generation with support for user-related parameters and the designer or the company as an actor in the implementation of ecodesign.;Our research question was developed from a comprehensive analysis of the eco-design tools and contradictions in design choices driven by innovation and consideration of environmental impacts.;This work is a contribution to the search for an approach by the use or adaptation of known improvement tools, to enable searching of eco-design solutions to even generate innovation and enable the appropriation and integration in enterprises and users.;Our approach is based on a simplified impact assessment considering a multi-global analysis, and taking into account the user dimension. TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem solving) come downstream to support the simplified evaluation matrix, to an eco-innovative approach.;The choice of this approach, dictated by the difficulty in assessing impacts, where the results translated into design axes can be contradictory.;Verification of results by application to various situations of patents published in eco-design and monitoring of student teams that meet the challenges presented during the competition "les 24Heures de l' innovation.".;Finally, we propose a toolkit that can help generate eco-innovative solutions in creative sessions.
