| This dissertation is a collection of six short stories I wrote and submitted to fiction workshops as a PhD candidate at the University of Southern Mississippi. They are presented in an order that is more or less chronological.;"Department of Archives and History," "Tomato Day," and "The Pomeranian Dream" were submitted to Steve Barthelme's workshop. "The House Hunters," "Thrasher," and "Edward Works" were submitted to Frederick Barthelme's workshop. |
