Slope stability problem of water conservancy and hydropower projects are often encountered problem. The rise of ground water level in reservoir slope caused by reservoir water level elevation and groundwater drawdown caused by reservoir operation all will reduce the stability of the slope in reservoir area, slope landslide and collapse, thereby greatly increasing the number of incoming sediment, affect the reservoir region and its tail channel is expedite, and even threaten the safety and life of the reservoir.Slope stability directly determines the feasibility of project construction and affects the project investment and safe operation. Therefore, accelerating the pace of scientific research of water conservancy and hydropower engineering, and developing a set of modern slope engineering survey、design、construction、monitoring technology, has become a major issue in water resources and hydropower research. This thesis taked the analysis of slope stability on water conservancy project under various conditions as the starting point, the actual project as the background, based on the actual engineering geological characteristics of accumulation body in Niluo, carried out thorough research of the stability of the deposit body, the specific contents were as follows:(1) Study on the engineering geological characteristics of deposit;(2) Analysis of the stability of pile body;(3) Analysis of stress and strain accumulation; Finally, combined with the design of reinforcement measures and monitoring of slope, on the basis of the calculation and analysis results, this paper proposed the accumulation body control design and monitoring design.
