Abstract/Summary:
Fits are performed to transverse momentum distributions of Drell-Yan data sets with non-perturbative functions in the Collins-Soper-Sterman (CSS) resummation formalism. Fits are made to various global sets of data containing results from both fixed target and collider experiments. Several functional forms in impact parameter space (b) of the non-perturbative function are also tested and compared. The best fit to the data is achieved with the form, -g1b2-g2b2 lnQ2 Q0-g 1g3b2 ln100xaxb with the values for the parameters, g1=0.21+0.01-0.01,g2 =0.68+0.02-0.02,g3=-0.60 +0.05-0.04 .
