Abstract/Summary:
This dissertation focuses on development of wireless power and data transmission hardware for use in a wireless neural recording system. This involves a comprehensive review of the applications requiring or strongly benefiting from wireless power and high data rate outward telemetry, multiparametric analysis of a system for wireless power and data transmission, and a detailed description of external and implanted hardware composing such a system.
