| The Kingdom Triangle, written by J. P. Moreland, is as revolutionary today as it was when written in 2007. The need for a recovered Christian mind, a completely renovated wholesome Shalom Soul connected to the power and authority of the Holy Spirit, is the paradigm for Christians to engage the culture around them. There are both biblical and historical antecedents that provide confirmation of the inbreaking of God's kingdom through the empowered Kingdom Triangle with signs and wonders. Though there are many disconnects that flip the power off and nullify the effectiveness of the Spirit's ministry, it is wrong to conclude that the miraculous was relegated to the start-up of the church and therefore unnecessary for the starving-for-love world of our day. The primary rationale for the Triangle's representation in the lives of the church is because of the vast and overwhelming love of God for all humanity. The restoration of the Triangle is imperative for today because in all ages and in all eras God's love needs to be on display in the same manner Jesus lived it out in reality. And, that is a life lived under the influence of the Holy Spirit. |
