The interplay between ethnicity and trust in government in Kenya

This study examines the connection between ethnicity and trust in government due to the saliency of ethnicity in Kenyan politics despite the enactment of multiparty legislation in 1991. The literature review uses historical analysis to shed light on ethnic dynamics in Kenyan politics. Literature review in this study has revealed that ethnic politics is still live in Kenya despite multiparty endorsement. This study sought to establish whether data would confirm same results.
