Research On Mechanism Of Innovation Eco-embeddedness On Enterprise Innovation Performance

The enterprise is an important material carrier and component of the social economy.The innovative ability of the enterprise has a profound influence on the innovative degree of social and economic development.Enhancing the enterprise's innovative ability is a prerequisite and guarantee to realize innovation-driven development for China's economy.Nowadays,the overall innovation strength of Chinese enterprises is still weak,showing the characteristics of "three not"(i.e.the dynamic adaptability of innovation is not strong;the continuous innovation and motivation is not sufficient;the ability of collaborative innovation of resources is not high).This dissertation argues that enterprises need to "embed" external heterogeneous networks to form a network system with innovative ecosystem functions,so that enterprises can obtain external innovation resources chronically,stably and sustainably and enhance their innovation dynamic adaptability and sustainability,changing the "three not" characteristics.In the context of embeddedness innovation,although the issue that improves enterprise innovation performance has been a hot topic in embeddedness research field,most of the existing researches focus on the impact of single homogenous network embeddedness on enterprise innovation performance.There are few researches about the impact of compound heterogeneous network embeddedness on the company's innovation performance.Based on this,this dissertation proposes the concept of innovation eco-embeddedness from the network heterogeneity dimension,geographic proximity dimension and sustainable development dimension.Then this dissertation explores the inherent law among innovation eco-embeddedness,collaborative capability and enterprise innovation performance,and establishes a research framework of "Innovation Eco-Embeddedness—Collaborative Capability—Enterprise Innovation Performance" to analyze the mechanism of innovation eco-embeddedness on enterprise innovation performance.In addition,this dissertation clarifies improvement strategies of enterprise innovation performance from innovation eco-embeddedness perspective in order to expand existing research and provide innovation practice references for enterprises.Specifically,this dissertation proceeds in the order of "Conceptual Construction—Mechanism Analysis—Applied Exploration" :(1)Research on the concept construction of innovation eco-embeddedness answers "what is innovation eco-embeddedness".Specifically,from the theoretical perspective,this dissertation draws on innovation ecosystem researches to clarify the analytical framework for innovation eco-embeddedness and proposes the definition of innovation eco-embeddedness.(i.e.the firm's activity of embedding external networks to form a heterogeneous ecological network system,in which regional and inter-regional networks are nesting mutually and knowledge networks and value-chain networks are coupled mutually,in order to obtain external innovation resources efficiently,maintain external innovation resources and get a long-term,stable and continuous development).The ecological characteristics and types of innovation eco-embeddedness are analyzed.The toggle conditions of innovation eco-embeddedness are proposed.From the practical perspective,this dissertation builds a measurement scale that conforms to innovation eco-embeddedness connotation based on the innovative eco-embeddedness analysis framework.(2)Analysis of the mechanism of innovation eco-embeddedness on enterprise innovation performance answers "how innovation eco-embeddedness affects enterprise innovation performance".According to the research logic,the research framework of "innovation eco-embeddedness—collaborative capability—enterprise innovation performance" is established.According to the idea of "build models by abductive reasoning,get conclusions by extraction and verification",throuh the construction and verification of logical relationship model and mechanism hypothesis model,the mechanism model of innovation eco-embeddedness on enterprise innovation performance is obtained.Moreover on this basis,the "3-CO" mechanisms of innovation eco-embeddedness on enterprise innovation performance is extracted(i.e.knowledge co-sharing mechanism,value co-creation mechanism and network embeddedness co-mutualism mechanism).System dynamics method is utilized to simulate the "3-CO" mechanisms of innovation eco-embeddedness on enterprise innovation performance and verify previous research conclusions.(3)Research on exploration about the application of innovationeco-embeddedness answers "how to enhance corporate innovation performance through innovation eco-embeddedness".This part mainly explores how to use innovation eco-embeddedness behavior and its mechanism on innovation performance to promote innovation performance.Specifically,based on the research conclusions of the mechanism of innovation eco-embeddedness on enterprise innovation performance,this dissertation proposes five measures from aspects of innovation eco-embeddedness,collaborative capability and external embeddedness environment to enhance enterprise innovation performance.Innovations of this dissertation are:(1)Put forward the concept of innovation eco-embeddedness and expand the existing network embeddedness research.This dissertation constructs and perfects the concepts of innovation eco-embeddedness from both theoretical and practical aspects,and proposes a conceptual analysis framework.On the one hand,it extends the network-embeddedness research object from the homogeneous networks to the heterogeneous networks.On the other hand,it integrates ecological features.Research on innovation eco-embeddedness overcomes the lack of the research on the sustainability and ecological aspects of network embeddedness in existing researches,which complements and refines existing researches.(2)Establish a logical framework for the relationship among innovation eco-embeddedness,collaboration capability and enterprise innovation performance and analyze the "3-CO" mechanisms of innovation eco-embeddedness on enterprise innovation performance.This dissertation firstly identifies the logical relationship among innovation eco-embeddedness,collaborative capability and enterprise innovation performance through case analysis,then constructs and verifies the hypothesis model of innovation eco-embeddedness on enterprise innovation performance and obtains the mechanism model of innovation eco-embeddedness on enterprise innovation performance.And on this basis,this dissertation extracts the "3-CO" mechanisms of innovation eco-embeddedness on enterprise innovation performance(i.e.knowledge co-sharing mechanism,value co-creation mechanism and network embeddedness co-mutualism mechanism)and clarifies the internal law of compound heterogeneous network embeddedness to promote enterprise innovation performance and break through the existing researchperspective and framework.(3)Build a system dynamics model of innovation eco-embeddedness network system.At present,there are few simulation studies on heterogeneous network embeddedness.In this dissertation,based on the concept connotation of innovation eco-embeddedness,the system dynamics method is used to construct the system dynamics model of innovation eco-embeddedness network system,and the simulation of innovation eco-embeddedness is realized.Through the regulation of model parameters,this dissertation defines the internal operation mechanisms and important influence factors,enriches the simulation of heterogeneous network embeddedness and complements existing researches.
