| In recent years, the transformation of China’s economy into a high-quality stage of development has put forward higher requirements for industrial development.Exploring the potential of industrial development and improving the quality and efficiency of development have become the focus of industrial development.Among them, the measurement of industrial spatial structure is an important basis for industrial structure adjustment, planning and industrial development path exploration and related policy formulation. With the background trend of industrial upgrading,innovation,cross-integration and sustainable development, the more detailed statistical measurement of the industrial spatial structure and the research on the potential development path on this basis are increasingly important to promote the high-quality industrial developmentAt present, most of the industrial spatial structure measurement research is carried out from the macro and industry levels, and mainly based on the industry categories set by China’s Statistical Bureau.Nowadays, driven by the rapid development of science and technology, innovation and integration have become the distinctive features of industrial development, and the boundaries of the industry are constantly changing. Therefore, macro and industry-based measures are difficult to reflect the complex network relationship of actual industrial structures, which can hardly reflect the development characteristics of interdependence, penetration and cross-integration between industries. At the same time, limited by the difficulty of low-level subset industry data, traditional related studies mainly reflect macroscopic phenomena, but cannot conduct in-depth research on the internal microstructure of the industry. In addition, there are obvious inconsistencies in the division of industries in the world at present, which makes it difficult to directly compare the measurement results of industrial spatial structure based on industry divisions among different countries. However, the traditional research on the potential development path of industry is mainly focuses on the orientation of industry development.Few can measure the potential development path of industry in time and give detailed guidance on specific priority development. For example, the high-tech industry and other industries with a relatively general industrial scope, policy recommendations are often given for the industry as a whole, but rarely conduct industry analysis and policy formulation from a more detailed level,so the guidance to practice is weak. Therefore, the traditional research on the spatial structure and potential development path of industry can not fully meet the needs of modern industrial development research, and it is necessary to explore a more detailed measurement and analysis method from the microscopic perspective.Recently, the gradual rise of product space theory has provided a new theoretical basis for the detailed study of microscopic perspective on the development of related industries. The product space theory combines the theory of comparative advantage and the theory of endogenous economic growth, and studies industrial transformation, upgrading and economic growth from the perspective of micro-products,which forms a theoretical breakthrough for the study of spatial structure measurement and potential development path of industry. At the same time, the application and development of big data technology and methods also provide the possibility for the research on the spatial structure measurement and potential development path of industry from microscopic perspective. Therefore, relying on the product space theory, this study attempts to construct a framework for the research of spatial structure and potential development path of industry, and introduces relevant methods of social network to conduct a more in-depth measurement research on China’s industrial development from the perspective of micro-products.Considering that the region is the practice subject of China’s industrial policy, regional industrial development and policy planning have an important impact on the country’s overall industrial development, and the isomorphism between regional industrial spatial structures has a significant impact on regional industrial development. Therefore,we first grasp the status and trends of national industrial development from the national level, and then combine the regional level analysis to grasp the industrial positioning and advantages of the region, and promote the coordinated development of national industry by providing more detailed and suitable industrial positioning and development trend for the region under the national industrial development path.Specifically, this paper studies the industrial spatial structure and potential development path of China from the following three aspects:(1)Based on the product space theory, the measurement of spatial structure and the exploration of potential development path of China’s industry considering complex network connection of industries from the perspective of micro-products,analyze the industrial spatial structure characteristics, evolution trajectory and potential development trend of the whole country;(2)Extending the product space theory, measuring the isomorphism of regional industrial spatial structure from the perspective of micro-products and analyzing the influencing factors, and studying the relationship between industries in different regions and their position in the spatial pattern of industries, providing information for promoting the coordinated development of regional industries;(3)Extending the product space theory to the regional level, giving a research method for spatial structure measurement and potential development path exploration of regional industries from the perspective of micro-products,which can be used to analyze characteristics of industrial advantages and possible development paths of the region.Combining with the first two parts of the research,we can give the regional industrial development path suitable for the characteristics of regional industrial development under the overall development trend of the national industry, and further give the detailed industrial development policy under the guidance of the national industrial policy. Finally, take a specific city as an example to verify the feasibility.By introducing the theory of product space and taking the micro-product structure analysis as the main line, this paper measures the problem of industrial spatial structure and potential development path in China, and studies the industrial spatial structure and potential development path in accordance with the progressive interrelationship from the national level to the regional level. It starting from the micro level, while comprehensively investigating the micro and macro changes, achieves the organic unification from the whole country to the region. The results show that:(1)Compared with other countries,China has more advantages in labor-intensive and capital-intensive industries, and the development of the industry shows a certain path dependence, and there is a preferential trend towards the adjacent industries of the existing advantageous industries. Therefore,in order to develop high-tech intensive industries,China needs to develop related industries with high-complexity products, and carry out industrial integration development or technological innovation to break through the path dependence.(2)In order to promote the high-quality development of China’s industries, for existing advantageous industries, the focus should be on the use of modern technology to transform, and enhance the advantages by improving product quality and production efficiency, especially to seize the "One Belt,One Road" opportunities, breaking through the bottleneck of outward development and achieving win-win cooperation. For high-tech and high-complexity industries, priority should be given to products with short distance from the existing production capacity, good application foundation, large market scale, and can fully utilize the development of new technologies(such as the Internet and new energy),so as to achieve.curve overtaking.(3)From the overall point of view of product distribution, the isomorphism of regional industrial spatial structure in China has weakened in recent years, indicating that the leading idea of coordinated industrial development in the central region has achieved certain results in regional industrial positioning and division of labor and cooperation. However, from the local point of view, the isomorphism between some regions is still strong, showing the core-intensive-peripheral-sparse characteristics as a whole. In the next step,it is necessary to carry out differentiated policy guidance on the basis of combining the characteristics of regional resources endowment.(4)Geographical proximity and capital level are the main influencing factors of the isomorphism of regional industrial spatial structure in China.Although this has led to a rapid increase in the regional industry level in the short term, the competition between the inter-regional industries has become fierce, which has also led to a gradual reduction in resource allocation efficiency, which is not conducive to long-term sustainable development of the region.(5)Based on the strategy of industrial security and sustainable development, the micro-measurement results show that China has a high degree of external dependence on some key core products. Therefore, vigorous development of integrated circuits, semiconductor equipment and devices, aerospace tools, optical fibers, software and so on is of decisive significance for improving China’s industrial chain, promoting industrial upgrading, reducing industrial development risks, and achieving independent, controllable and sustainable development. |
