In the context of a new international economic environment and the Internet,China's manufacturing industry is transforming from a world manufacturing power to a great manufacturing powerhouse;according to China's national development strategy,China's modern clothing industry system will develop into a new industrial system characterized by innovation,openness,integration,agglomeration and sustainability.Therefore,design has become the primary tool for clothing brand companies to realize new ideas,new products and services,and design strategy has become an effective driving force to enhance the value creation of clothing brands.Modern design not only creates economic value for clothing brands,but also creates social values such as ecological value,cultural value and aesthetic value;moreover,design talents with intellectual and innovative characteristics have become the core human resources for the transformation and upgrading of various clothing brands.However,with the continuous development and changes in the quality,structure and scale of the design talent team in the Chinese clothing industry,the traditional talent evaluation model has completely failed to meet the needs of design talent management and development.Scientific and rational talent evaluation can not only create a fair environment,but also play a guiding,stimulating and communication role;therefore,the construction of a classification evaluation system specifically for design talents plays an important role in promoting the future development of the clothing industry and design industry.This study responds to the national level and adopts the talent classification and stratification evaluation system as the resolution to implement the important work of the strategy of strengthening the country through talents,and is carried out in conjunction with design talent evaluation practice projects at the industry and enterprise levels.The study is aimed at the practical problem of designing talent management in the design of talent evaluation theory and the development of clothing brand.From the new perspective of "value creation",based on the characteristics of clothing design value and design talent value creation,and through the use of literature research methods,survey interviews,expert opinion methods,mathematical analysis statistics,factor decomposition methods and other research methods,this paper carries out a methodology study on the evaluation of clothing brand design talents.This paper mainly includes the following aspects:1.From the perspective of value creation,innovative theoretical research on designing talent evaluation models has been carried out.Firstly,on the basis of design value,talent evaluation and value creation theory,combined with the characteristics of design talent value composition and creation,and extracting related index from design and design talent value creation,the basic theoretical model of design talent evaluation consisting of common index such as design cognition,design ability,innovative personality and design value is formed.Then,John Dewey's experimental empiricism "evaluation judgment" theory is adopted,and the design talent evaluation is considered as a two-way evaluation process for design value creation and design talent value creation.The ultimate goal of its evaluation is to create new design values and design talent values,which in turn achieve value added;therefore,the design talent evaluation personality index should come from the design value creation process of specific industries and enterprises.Finally,the common index of design talent evaluation are combined with the specific index of talent evaluation in specific industries and enterprises,thus opening up the theory of “becoming talents” in design education and the theory of “use talents” in design management,then the design talent evaluation model based on the value creation perspective is constructed.2.The analysis and extraction research of the design talent evaluation index of the clothing brand is carried out.Based on the data collection of domestic and international design talent evaluation and the research on the design talent recruitment of 63 domestic clothing listed companies,and on the field interviews of 15 clothing brand enterprises and the investigation of 328 design talents questionnaires,the status quo of design talent evaluation in the clothing industry has been analyzed and studied,and the problems and needs in the current design talent evaluation are pointed out.The PDIO design talent clothing brand value creation chain is sorted out,and the evaluation index of the logical clothing brand design talent is extracted.Finally,the mathematical analysis and expert review are used to refine the clustering of evaluation index.3.The evaluation system for clothing brand design talents based on value creation is constructed.Talent evaluation is an objective and fair value measurement process for talent quality and creation results through a variety of objective and scientific methods,certain procedures,forms and standards. Based on the transformation and upgrading of Chinese clothing brands in the era of knowledge economy under the background of the Internet,this study has positioned the evaluation system of clothing brand design talents to determine the purpose,principles and processes of evaluation;an evaluation system of “one new perspective,two evaluation criteria,three evaluation methods,and four functions” is constructed.From the perspective of value creation,the framework of PDIO evaluation index has been proposed,forming two evaluation models of design talent quality and results,and three application methods of configuration,development and assessment.It is clear that the ultimate goals of clothing brand design talent evaluation are to enhance the value creation of the design talents in the social,corporate and individual levels,to create a collaborative environment of value creation,to guide the distribution of value creation results,and ultimately to create value creation motivation for design talents.4.Practical applications are carried out at the macro level and the micro level to verify and optimize research results.At the macro level,the project of Study on the Evaluation Standards and Methods of Professional Ability of Chinese Light Industry Design Talents has designed the professional standards and methods for light industry design talents from a professional and practical perspective.The theoretical research results provide an important reference for the light industry design talent evaluation practice.At the micro level,the Study on the Evaluation Standards of Competency of Red Dragonfly Group Design Talents focuses on the value creation of corporate clothing brands,sorts out and reconstructs the corporate development strategy and brand core values,and deduces the creative demand for design value.Based on this,the design talent competency model,index weights and evaluation tools are constructed to provide methods for specific enterprises to solve the bottleneck problem of design talent management.The innovations of this paper are mainly reflected in the following aspects:1.Innovation of research perspectiveThe new talent evaluation research perspective is adopted to study “value creation” as the talent evaluation target and result.The purpose of design talent evaluation is considered to realize the design value and value creation of design talents in the double evaluation judgment.The design talent evaluation model from the perspective of value creation can directly reflect the process of design talents to realize value appreciation for society,organization,others and themselves through designing labor,and this evaluation model is in line with the uniqueness of design value and design talent value creation;therefore,this new research perspective evaluation methodology is applicable to design talents,and from a theoretical perspective,this new research perspective improves human resource management research in design management.2.Innovation in the extraction method of evaluation indexThe PDIO clothing brand design talent evaluation index extraction method is formed.By analyzing the value creation process of designing talented clothing brands,this study combs the clothing brand design value creation chain consisting of “design planning”,“creative design”,“design realization” and “integrated operation”.Therefore,according to academic logic and industry experience,PDIO(Plan,Design,Implement,Operate)design talent evaluation index extraction structure is formed.This kind of index extraction architecture makes the evaluation of the design ability and the quality of the design talents more reasonable,comprehensive and comprehensive;and this index provides a research approach for the data collection of talent training oriented in the design education talent chain docking industry chain.3.Innovation of the evaluation systemIn this study,a classification evaluation system for clothing brand design talents is constructed.In the business context of clothing brand value creation,the system is a design talent evaluation system based on the iterative evolution characteristics of design talent value creation ability and the characteristics of design talent value creation.At the same time,the evaluation system regards design talents as independent elements.The evaluation system believes that only the enterprises,design talents and customers create and share value gains around the value of the clothing brand under the premise of design value recognition,then the process of value creation is sustainable.
