A Study On The Circulation Efficiency Of Agricultural Products

In 2012,the citilization in China is 52.57%.How to meet the demand of large-scare population for agricultural products is the new issue in the field of circulation of agricultural products nowadays.In the range of country,it has formed a circulation system of agricultural products that centered about the wholesale market and based on farmers market,community shops,mobile stalls and supermarkets.But there still exist many problems in the circulation of agricultural products,such as the small scale of main circulation of agricultural products,high cost of circulation,backward distribution facilities and technology,high circulation loss rate.These problems reflected that the circulation efficiency is low.The circulation efficiency of agricultural product not only affects the agricultural product producers’ interests and welfare of consumers,but also,to a certain extent,related to the development of agriculture and the development of the national economy.A comprehensive study on the efficiency of agricultural product circulation has important theoretical and practical significance.Take bananas for example,which is less than wheat in the volume of agricultural products trading in the world,at present,there still exist many problems in our country banana circulation,such as:small scale of the main flow,single transaction mode of circulation,backward circulation facilities,the high cost of circulation,poor ripening effect.The existence of the above problems,hindered the further improvement of the circulation efficiency of banana,the interests and welfare of all stakeholders,this requires that we must think more comprehensive on banana circulation efficiency in china.So,what is the banana circulation efficiency,how to measure the efficiency of circulation of banana,what is China’s circulation efficiency level,what are the factors that affect the efficiency of circulation,how to improve the series of problems of circulation efficiency has become an important subject in front of us.The study is based on institutional economics,supply chain management,consumer behavior theory,and based on the definition of the concept of banana circulation efficiency,to find out the relevant index that can evaluate the circulation efficiency in practice,such as:technical efficiency,consumer satisfaction,flow through the post and the transaction cost and so on.Then in accordance with the banana circulation sequence,each evaluation indexes of banana circulation efficiency is analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively,and it analyzes the factors of each index and the influence direction and degree of circulation efficiency and effect of determination,finally it puts forward some suggestions to improve the circulation efficiency of banana.The main conclusions of this study include:(1)the banana circulation system has a far-reaching influence on the circulation efficiency.(2)the transaction cost is the key to the circulation efficiency.(3)the application of circulation technology needs further promotion.(4)each kind of circulation pattern has its rationality of existence.(5)there is space for banana circulation cost to further compression.Main policy suggestions of this paper include:firstly,to develop the circulation policy should pay attention to its integrity.Secondly,to enhance the inclusive and continuity of the circulation policy of agricultural products.Thirdly,to learn advanced experience from foreign countries,and further improve the relevant circulation system.The speciality and possible innovations of the study are as follows:(1)It-exploringly defines the connotation and extension of banana circulation efficiency,and find out the relevant index that can evaluate the circulation efficiency in practice,to form a comprehensive analysis framework on banana circulation efficiency which combines qualitative and quantitative analysis,and provides certain reference for the study of agricultural products circulation efficiency.(2)as to the perspective of banana industry chain,it evalates and analyses the size of each evaluation index of circulationefficiency and its effect factors respectively from every aspects of banana circulation,to make the analysis and evaluation of the circulation efficiency more clear and coherent.
