The staff's individual innovation performance becomes a very important factor in a competitive market environment,because it not only brings to the enterprise profit but also can make the enterprise gain competitive advantage.So what factors influence the staff's innovation performance?And what is the specific influence mechanism?The existing studies have found that the employee's personality,psychological capital,knowledge sharing,job engagement,innovation climate of the organization,leadership style and organizational support all have impact on employee's individual innovation performance.In general,the present study mainly focused on the impact of employee's psychological and behavioral effects on innovation performance,or is the study of which variable through influence the staff's psychology and behavior make an impact on employees' innovation performance.However,the individual's psychology and behavior are influenced by the values,and therefore individual's work values will impact on innovation performance.So do the work values will affect employees' innovation performance?And what is the specific influence mechanism?Do different dimensions of work values will make different impact on employees' innovation performance?Unfortunately,there is few researches focus on problem to mining the influence employees' innovation performance' deep fact at present.Trying to answer the above questions,this study is to explore the relationship between work values and employees' innovation performance,and to find the influence mechanism of work values on innovation performance,in order to enrich and develop the work values theory and innovation theory.Through the summary of existing research literature,and the guidance ofAMO theory,job engagement theory,and trait activationtheory this study put forwarded the hypothesis model about the relation between work values and innovation performance.The research modelanalyzes the different dimension of work values(Is divided into 'comfort and security','competence and growth' and 'status and independence' three dimensions)will be make different influence on innovation performance firstly,and then analyzing the mediating role of job engagement.In the end,in-depth analysis of the moderating effect of work autonomy,work ability fit and the interaction of the two on the relation between different dimensions of work values and job engagement.This study conducted an empirical research to test the research model.Through the preliminary research,obtain 96 valid questionnaires,and then used corrected-itemtotal correlation(CITC)and exploratory factor analysis(EFA)to optimize the initial questionnaire get the formally questionnaire.Then,obtained 319 valid questionnaires through carried out a formal investigation in the other five companies.This study used reliability test,validity test,homologous variance test,normal distribution test,EFA and confirmatory factor analysis to ensure the quality of research data and reliability of research conclusion.This study used SPSS 19.0 software,and used hierarchical regression analysis to test in the research model on the premise of guarantee the quality of research data,and found the following main research conclusions:(1)Work values is an important factthat affected employee'individual innovation performance,and work values' dimensions have different influences on employees' individual innovation performance.(2)Work engagement played a completely mediating role between work values' three dimensions and innovation performance.(3)Work ability fit and work autonomy all had a significant positive moderating effect on the relationship between work values' three dimensions and innovation performance.(4)The interaction of work ability fit also played a positive moderating role on the relationship between work values' three dimensions and innovation performance.In summary,this research explored the individual innovation performance's generationmechanism form work values' perspective.Research model was validated by empirical investigation,and the research conclusion not only made up for the gap in existing research,but alsopromoted the development of the related theory.This research had the following three aspects innovation:(1)Innovativeresearch perspective.This study considered whether work attitude and work behavior all will be affected by the work values,so the work values is the deep factor that affected employees' individual innovation performance.Therefore,this research is based on the new perspective of work values to explore the individual innovation performance's generationmechanism was more scientific.But there was few studiescarried out from this perspective.(2)Through the study,we found work values'different dimensions all had a significant impact oninnovation performance.The comfort and security had a significant negative impact on the innovation performance,the competence and growthhad a significant positive impact on the innovation performance,and the status and independencealso had a significant positive impact on the innovation performance.(3)Discovered the mechanism of work values influenced on the innovation performance.Study not only found the job engagement played a complete mediating role between work values'three dimension and innovation performance,but also found work ability fit,work autonomy and their interaction also played a positive moderating effect on the relationship between work values' three dimensions and innovation performance.This research's conclusion the influencemechanism of work values on innovation performance.
