Research On The Influencing Factors Of Migrants' Integration In City And Its Impact On Citizenship Behavior

China's society is at a crucial stage of advancing urbanization.Migrant has become an important member of the city "big family," an inexhaustible motive force for realizing new urbanization and how to integrate "remaining" Eventually settling in the cities and resolving their integration problems in city have gradually become the breakthrough point of urbanization,which plays an important role in cracking the dual structure of urban and rural areas,promoting the construction of a harmonious society and coordinating the development of urban and rural areas.The western research results on integration of international immigrants are relatively abundant,which has laid a solid foundation for us to conduct indepth studies on the migrants' integration in city in China.However,the research objects are mainly immigrants from developing countries to the United States and Europe in the middle and late 20 th century.The background of different national conditions and the characteristics of the times have determined that the migrants' integration in city and the integration of international immigrants is not the same.By sorting out domestic and foreign literature,we find that the following research problems are as follows: First,there have been few researches on the influence mechanism of the family reunification degree and the application of ICT on the migrants' integration individuals in city;Second,external influence factors,lack of research on the impact mechanism of the perception of city soft power on the migrants' integration in city,and the study of the path;Third,the study of the effects of the migrants' integration on the consequences,and the lack of research on the impact of the migrants' integration on their citizenship behavior after financial integration.In view of the above issues,based on the survey data of 1204 migrants in four cities in Beijing,Shanghai,Xi'an and Chengdu in 2016,this paper conducts an empirical study on the migrants' Integration in City from three aspects: influence factors,actual conditions and impact consequences.The main research contents and results are as follows:1.The research on the influence mechanism of family reunification degree.The OLS regression model was used to analyze the effect of family reunification degree on the migrants' integration in city.The study found that the degree of family reunification is significantly positively related to migrants' integration in city;the higher the degree of family reunification,the higher the level of the migrants' integration in city.The sub-dimension study found that this effect is implemented through the economic integration and psychological integration of the migrants in city.A further interaction study found that the lower the stage of schooling for children,the stronger the degree of family reunification of the migrant influences their integration in city.2.The research on the application of ICT influencing mechanisms.The OLS regression model was used to analyze the mechanism of ICT application on the migrants' integration level.The study found that there is a significant positive correlation between the use of ICT and migrants' integration.Both using of ICT and interaction with others for the use of ICT(for example,individuals with low ICT levels request individuals with high ICT levels to help with online shopping or online services)have a significant positive correlation with the migrants' integration in city.Further research found that the two dimensions of ICT use are significantly positively related to the four dimensions of the migrants' integration in city(including economic,social,cultural,and psychological integration aspects).3.The study of the impact of city soft power.Based on the theory of social cognition,the hypothesis of the impact mechanism of city soft power perception on the migrants' integration in city was constructed.The empirical verification uses the LISREL structural equation test,stepwise linear regression analysis,SPSS PROCESS plug-in,and the attached Bootstrap test.Through data analysis,the model assumptions are supported.The study finds that: city soft power perception has an indirect effect on the migrants' integration in city by affecting the "intermediary" of the will to stay in cities;the city's external reputation perception is regarded as a regulatory variable,and the positive effect on the will of staying in the city through strengthening city soft power perception further strengthens its indirect effect on migrants' integration in city.4.The research on the impact of the migrants' integration on their citizenship behavior after financial integration.Based on the social identity theory,using LISREL Structural Equation Test,Stepwise Linear Regression Analysis,SPSS PROCESS Plug-in,and the attached Bootstrap test,etc.,empirically studied the mechanism of the level of migrant's integration impacts on its citizenship behavior,and constructed the impact of migrant's integration and social support on the migrant's citizenship behavior was empirically supported.The research results show that the level of migrant's integration influences their citizenship behavior indirectly by affecting city identity;Social support adjusts the indirect effect of migrants' integration on citizenship by strengthening the positive influence of migrants' integration in city on city identity.According to the results of the research,the dissertation analyzes and discusses the policy proposals to promote the migrants' integration in city based on the research enlightenment,and points out the limitations of the study and the future research prospects.
