A Study On First Youth Games Impact To The Fuzhou City Soft Power

In recent years, major cities eager to undertake various kinds of sporting events, in order to promote the city’s economic and social development. Sporting events for the city and state significance not only reflect at the economic level, but also will have a positive impact on the the city’s soft power,such as cultural, political, institutional. In this paper, the first National Youth Games was successfully held in Fuzhou,it is just a good time to explore the impact of Fuzhou city’s soft power. Through document searching, related concepts and elements of the definition respectively, Access to information from the questionnaires,fieldwork,interviews and other research methods, consult with Tao Jianjie scholars city’s soft power on the evaluation index system, talking eight level indicators of urban culture appeal, educational development force, the city’s image spread of power, etc, and draw the following conclusions:(1) The Youth Games,help the Fuzhou city’s economic prosperity and development;(2)The Youth Games play a positive role in promoting the soft power of Fuzhou city.Just as the urban culture, urban education, government services, urban cohesion, the image of the city, and harmony degree, influence area and living environment, etc. They have been further improved and enhanced.(3)The Youth Games will also bring some negative impact.(4)The Youth Games have ended, but the tournament in Fuzhou available waste heat, continue to accelerate the construction to strengthen the city’s soft power, enhance the city’s comprehensive competitiveness.Article hopes that, through studying Fuzhou Youth Games, Fuzhou city will study the impact of soft power level in providing the framework,and reference for the city’s soft power theory, provide recommendations for the development of Fuzhou City.
