Virtual Reality Technology And New Military Revolution

Virtual Reality technology(VR)is closely related to the military.However,it has not play a dominate role on the military application,as the absence of related technology.Recently,with the breakthrough and development of VR technology,the VR products explosively emerge and have immense significance to global market.Worldwide businesses,such as Facebook,google,Microsoft,Sony and so on,all made a big investment in VR area.As a result,the application of VR technology in military becomes necessary.In this thesis,the effect of VR technology on the new military innovation in our country will be discussed in detail.This text introduces the development and application of VR technology,especially in the military area,then analyzes the effect of VR technology on the future new military innovation and the role of VR technology in the new military innovation,considering the military equipment,fight mode,military training and military management,after studying its technical characteristic and further development.This text also discussed the effect of VR technology on the informatization of weapon equipment.Not only a new virtual equipment and platform system can be constructed based on the present equipment,but also a fundamental innovation for creating,experiment and application of old weapon equipment can be occurred with the VR technology.Simultaneously,the application of VR technology makes the risk and cost decreased,but the fighting ability enhanced.The relationship between VR technology and innovation of military theory was revealed by constructing the virtual fighting environment,virtual command and evaluation.The innovation of military theory is completed by designing war in the laboratory,not by learning from the finished wars.The theory driving role of pre-practice of fighting on the future informatization war was proposed.By designing different fighting environments and states with VR technology,the fighting and response ability of training person are improved,leading to a good fighting experience and high fighting power.Meanwhile,the method to realize effective military management with VR technology was developed.Above analysis,this thesis proposed that the new military innovation in our country should depend on the development of VR technology.The military training,equipment research and culture of military personnel and so on should be virtual,so that the fighting power can be effectively improved in a low cost and high efficiency.To possess the leading position in the military and to take the preemptive opportunities in the future informatization war which the virtual reality space is the core,the VR technology should be great developed.
