Research Into The Social Order Of The Transformational Community From The Perspective Of Organization

As the developing of the community,those villages which are under transformation are confronted with problems of the social order reconstruction and the community reorganization in the urbanization drive.In the research of humanities,it has become an interesting topic that how to deal with this basic problem in the development of Chinese society.Through a great amount of field researches and theoretical studies,this thesis will focus on the transformation of Z Village,a urbanized community of Yi People in southeast of Kunming,and study its organizational problems of both Self-organization and Hetero-organization in the social changes by adopting the organization theory.After the research,this paper is expected to discuss the relationship between the organization changes and the social orders.Meanwhile,it attempts to give some constructive suggestions and analysis to the rural community transformation in the drive of the Chinese urbanization.This thesis will discuss the methodology used in the research from the perspective of organization theory,and attempt to illustrate the changing process of Z Village's traditional organization in different periods by using the data collected from field researches,as well as the influence to the local life.On the basis of the field research and theoretical analysis,this paper is designed to analyze the disordered social problems which arise from the loss of organization in Z Village.This dissertation is composed of six parts.The introduction explains why I need to do such a research,and gives a literature review of related previous researches.Then the author illustrates the research method,purpose,and how to conduct this research.Finally,the fieldwork station is introduced.This dissertation analyzes the organization transformation of Z Village.It attempts to offer the historical and cultural perspective in understanding of self-organization by the combination way of history and reality.Chapter one focuses on the relationship between organization and social order.It discusses the theoretical basis,analyses the roots of community social order problems.By analyzing the relationship between Self-organization and Hetero-organization in the process of community organization,this part reunderstands and defines self-organization as an organizational basis.It redefines and reviews the self-organization principle from the perspective of schema theory,which works as the effective theoretical basis for the study to be done.Chapter two is the analysis of the organization form and organization system of the rural social change of China since its foundation.It reveals the characteristics and problems of urbanization in the rural social change and the modernization of China,and provides a historical perspective and the understanding of organizational evolution for this paper.Chapter three and chapter four start with the research target,Z Village,to explore the changing relevance between the organization development and social orders.The research will attempt to find out reasons causing the loss of social orders in Z Village in its evolutionary process to adapt the social changes.This paper argues that the problems that Z Village is experiencing epitomize the current challenges for all Transformational Communities with the evidences supported by the close relevance between the loss of self-organization and the crisis in communities.The third chapter uses Z Village as a case,to discuss the characteristics of the organization of the traditional rural society from a historical perspective,and reveal the basic characteristics of the evolution of the community organization through historical analysis.In the fourth chapter,based on the historical analysis,the author analyzes the history of the social changes and the evolution of the organization of Z Village.Chapter five arrives at the natural conclusion after summarizing the social order reconstruction theoretically.It explores the necessary conditions to contribute a harmonious community under the background of the new urbanization strategy.It has illuminated the functional role of community organization construction in the transformation period of urbanization.The combination of Self-organization and Hetero-organization has contributed greatly to underpin the social inner development.Furthermore,the organization of community works as an impetus to promote the reestablishment and development of social community.In this part,the thesis has answered the question raised previously.Besides,it has clarified that the future of community development relies on the establishment of the community organization system of urbanization,to form the urban community social order,to promote the development of the humans' urbanization,to complete the citizenization of villagers.The conclusion part summarizes the research conclusion and significance of this paper.It points out the limitations of the study,and the possibility of future research.Through research and exploration,this paper draws the following conclusions:First,as the internal factor to maintain the order of the community life and adapt to the social changes,the community self-organization plays a key role in the process of the community organization.A stable and orderly community,there is always a relatively complete self-organization system played in the role.However,once this self-organizing state is destroyed,or replaced by the hetero-organization,the community is either lost or confused.Secondly,the self-organization of the community can not play the role of maintaining the order of the community and promoting the development of the community alone.That is to say,Hetero-organization is also indispensable.In some cases,the hetero-organization plays a key role in the stability and prosperity of the community.Therefore,it is theoretical understanding and explaining to community organization research by combining the Self-organization and Hetero-organization and dialectically understanding the roles of them in building community social orders.Finally,in the urbanization transformation of Transformational Community,the modernization of community society is different from the community relations and the structure of community organization in the traditional closed society.The relationship between people is complicated and diversified,because the social relations of homogeneous "mechanical solidarity" are replaced by heterogeneous "organic solidarity".Therefore,the business relationship and contractual relationship become the dominant factor of social solidarity,instead of genetic relationship and geographical relation.Under such background,the self-organization's form and content are different from traditional self-organization.It must be modernized and developed towards cooperation,mutual assistance,service and equal sharing.And the hetero-organization should construct the social order of the community and promote the stability and prosperity of the community on the basis of the way of respect,support,guidance and democratic consultation,rather than the way of administrative intervention and enforcement relying on top-down administrative authority traditionally.This requires not only to elaborate the theory of self-organization and hetero-organization from the general principle,but also to carry out a case study on the urbanization transformation of the complicated Transformational Community in experience;so as to avoid our cognition and practice being misleaded or affected by one-sidedness arising from the thinking of dogmatic and administrative.
