Tibetan birth etiquette is the main part of Tibetan life etiquette,and it is also the main research area for studying Tibetans and Tibetan society and culture.This thesis combines the ritual literature of Tibetan birth etiquette with field investigations,comprehensively explains the Tibetan birth etiquette and Tibetan traditional fertility concepts,behaviors,and folk customs,further explores the relationship between birth etiquette and religious beliefs,and changes in traditional birth in modernization.And reasons.The literature includes Dunhuang ancient Tibetan literature,Tibetan Bon ritual literature,the epic text of Gesar and Tibetan Buddhism ritual literature.The field investigation part includes the "Rebgong" area as the main field,and the ritual process,structure,characteristics,function,connotation,religious elements,changes and causes of modernization in the Tibetan birth etiquette are comprehensively described,consisting of six chapters.The first chapter is the textual research and interpretation of Tibetan birth etiquette;the second chapter is an overview of Rebgong area,the Tibetan etiquette pre-pregnancy etiquette;the third chapter is the etiquette during pregnancy;the fourth chapter is the post-natal etiquette;It is part of Tibetan birth etiquette and religious beliefs in Rebgong area;Chapter 6 is about the changes and reasons of Tibetan traditional fertility culture in Rebgong area.In the historical development of the Rebgong area,the Tibetans mainly exchange and integrate multi-ethnic cultures and coexist harmoniously.It has become a typical area where multi-religions and multi-ethnic cultures coexist in Amdo.Tibetan life etiquette and birth etiquette also exist widely in the local area,with distinctive features and representative features.For Rebgong Tibetan area,begging for a son is part of the birth etiquette.A couple does not have an inherited son,and prays for etiquette.In the "June Luru" rituals held in various villages,there are also special meaning "seeking ceremony" activities such as breeding children and continuing races.Among them,the "Amarum" in Langjia Village and the contents of the praying ceremony are unique Contains primitive religious and cultural phenomena such as fertility worship."Pregnancy etiquette" is the middle part of birth etiquette.There are taboos to protect pregnant women and babies;amulets such as wheel guards,gawu,and body knots;rituals such as pilgrimage,turning,and chanting;"Kawa" rituals for diseases and disorders;"Deji rituals" for baby boys."Post-natal etiquette" is the last part of birth etiquette.It includes the etiquette that protects pregnant women and babies during delivery;the birth celebrations of "Denka","Daka" and "Nutton".The rise and fall of the Bon religion,the indigenous Tibetan religion,and the introduction of Indian Buddhism,they have absorbed and improved each other,and have formed a distinctive Tibetan Buddhist religious culture system.It has been integrated into all areas of worldly life,and the birth etiquette is the same.There are such things as the worship of the mountain gods and the "Jila" god worship,the "Lu" god worship,the fertility worship,the taboo,the god wizard and the god dance "Ruru" in Tibetan primitive religion.The "elimination of Naizhi" and various disaster rituals in the Bon belief system;In Buddhism,gifts,releases,scriptures,and amulets are used to increase the number of offspring,to reduce magic,and to eliminate disasters,and to give birth smoothly and to promote fetal health and growth.Reproductive consciousness,behavior,and folklore in the birth etiquette of Rebgong Tibetan area also followed the transition of social modernization,and conscious and unconscious changes took place in multi-ethnic cultural exchanges.The original values and structural system were gradually damaged and disappeared.Although traditional culture adapts to the new environment through changes,not all changes are adapted.The main reasons for the change of fertility culture in the birth etiquette of Rebgong Tibetan area are: the transformation and development of modern economy;the reform of social legal system;multi-ethnic cultural exchanges;the innovation of traditional fertility concepts;the change of lifestyle and other reasons.
