Based on the view of the intellectual history,this paper studies the internal thought,the origin of academic,the construction of Governing Body,the programme of ideology,the system of Examples,the criticism and development of Hu Anguo's theory of Spring and Autumn Annals,and indicates that Hu's study has created a different theoretical quality from the Confucian Classics in the Han Dynasty.Firstly,the study of Confucian Classics transformed from the doctrine of ritual system to the doctrine of justice,which was also the Taoism founded by Cheng Brothers.Secondly,an important purpose of Confucian Classics in Song Dynasty was to elucidate the theory of "Governing Body" in the politics of Kingly Way,as the highest political constitution and the founding of the country.Thirdly,the Confucian classics of the Northern Song Dynasty turned from the"Kingliness Without" to the "Sageliness Within",and the new "Kingliness Without" was developed by the "Sageliness Within",which was no doubt that the Cheng Brothers was a demarcation point.Fourthly,Hu's study did not only inherit the study of Spring and Autumn Annals of the Cheng Brothers,but also developed the theory of "Sageliness Within and Kingliness Without".In addition,it was the product of the review and examination of the Confucianism in the Northern Song Dynasty.Fifthly,the differences in the learning of Spring and Autumn Annals in Song studies,was not in the syllabus of righteousness,but in the way of saying the Confucian classics,which was so-called problems of commendatory and derogatory with Examples,and the Song Confucianism was dominated by the theory of breaking them.Sixthly,the great righteousness of the Spring and Autumn Annals founded by Hu Anguo determined the basic form of this study from the Southern Song Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty.The post Confucianism did not surpass the scale of Hu's study,but only corrected it with Zhu Xi's study.Seventhly,the pursuit and construction of Cheng-Zhu's Orthodoxy promoted the rise of Hu's status.In a word,Hu Anguo's theory of Spring and Autumn Annals reacted the internal requirements of the development of Confucianism to reinterpret the Six Classics,as well as an important manifestation of the theoretical system of the construction of the Six Classics by Taoism.It was the product of the "Spring and Autumn Annals" learning transformed from the Han to the Song,and played a pioneering role in the construction of the basic theory of the Confucian Classics.In fact,with the help of Spring and Autumn Annals,Hu Anguo actually criticized and reformed the old system of Han Confucianism's Classics,and established the paradigm of "Sageliness Within and Kingliness Without","universality and particularity","Homologous of Body and Use" in Song,which not only instructed the construction practice of the King's politics,but also promoted the theoretical depth of Confucianism.
