On The Spiritual Needs Of Human-beings

This paper based on contemporary society of China,treats people’s spiritual needs as the research object,uses the basic ideas and theory about spiritual needs of Marxist theory,on the basis of collating the basic concept,basic problem,functional role and manifestations of human spiritual needs,analyzes the plight and causes of people’s spiritual needs in society reality,comes out with reasonable principles and countermeasures to guide the spiritual needs,explores and thinks the meaning of meeting people’s spiritual needs in the overall development of people.This paper including six parts,Introduction,Introduction to the human spirit needs,Marxist spiritual need theory,the dilemma and reasons for people’s spiritual needs in contemporary China,a reasonable guide for people’s spiritual needs,to meet people’s spiritual needs and the overall development.This paper argues that,human spiritual needs is the desire and requirement reflected in human social life,include of emotional(including emotion,will,desire,and other psychological factors)and rational(thinking,understanding,exploring,values,beliefs,etc.).Both physical emotional components and pure rationality inherent factors are included,at the same time,faith is the soul and the highest level in people’s spiritual life.For material needs,spiritual needs of people are characterized in indirection,diversity,unlimitedness(open);no matter in community level or at individual level,human spiritual needs have different manifestations,and is hierarchical.For social level,mainly appears as religion,morality,art,philosophy,political consciousness;at personal level,mainly refers to social interaction,gain,respect,self-quality enhancement and self-value realization,etc.,general speaking,it is a process from community communication to be respected,and to enhance the quality of self-realization and self-worth.Marxist theory on people’s spiritual needs,including spiritual needs as well as the theory of spirit production,happiness,beliefs,alienation theory,provide theoretical basis and methodology guidance for human spiritual needs study and thought.In the process of building our socialist modernization and harmonious society,people’s spiritual life situation has changed greatly,that human spiritual needs was satisfied to a certain extent,but there are also single and uneven development,human spiritual needs and life situation is increasingly becoming an important factor restricting the comprehensive development and social harmony and development.People desire to own more material wealth and money,while falling their spiritual life in trouble,make their spiritual needs not met.In social dimension,depression anxiety,emotional anxious and helpless,anxious state of mind imbalances,twisted deformed personality,cognitive chaos,lack of moral turpitude,listlessness hardship,faith confusion and other common problems are obviously prominent,and some have become serious barriers and constraints to the full and harmonious development of man.The reality of human existence and the comprehensive development is determined by social life.Spiritual life is human unique phenomenon,it’s not only the most intrinsic nature of individuals,but also a show of social life.Meet peoples spiritual needs is significant for maintain and improve self-survival,guide self-development and promote human perfection.It is the spirit life that make humans could grasp the objective reality beyond the material life through the concept of the object,so that their spiritual needs will be met,and themselves being expanded and enhanced.The human spiritual needs are constrained by social economic,political,cultural and subjective criteria,only create and provide material economic,political,and cultural conditions for a reasonable guide ofhuman spirit needs,adhere to the correct principles,perfect social psychology ease mechanisms,clearly defined "shoixld"and "should not",reduce the risk of negative social events,from individual differences in personality,respect for the individual,connect mainstream culture and popular culture,focusing on social benefit of cultural products,could we truly continue to meet people’s spiritual needs,enhance human mental life quality,improve the diathesis,and promote the comprehensive development and social progress.
