As the latest state of popular culture,media culture shows an increasingly important influence in modern life.In today’s culture of globalization,the culture production of media is both Chinese contemporary modem features in the context of globalization,but also has the characteristics of China’s social development stage.How to understand contemporary Chinese culture and its media production has become a cultural medium depth study of basic knowledge,and it is also an important topic of cultural studies media localization.Overall,academic study of media culture mainly concentrated on a few core issues:firstly,what is the media culture?This is the prevailing awareness of media culture studies and is the logical starting point of media culture study;secondly,media culture and daily life.As a cultural resource,media culture is increasingly clearly emerged as the constitutive elements of the mass’s daily life,and it provides daily cultural consumption for the public,creating new cultural experience,reflecting the powerful impact of media culture to daily life;thirdly,media culture and consumer society.The birth of media culture was intimately associated with the consumer society and consumerism ideology,and in the formation of the consumer society and consumerism culture promotion process,the role of the mass media to be reckoned with;fourth,media culture and its inherent power relationship analysis.Media culture as one of the important dimensions of understanding contemporary society,the power structure of its internal is fundamental rules to generate the meaning of media culture,therefore,the understanding of media culture internal power relations is the result of the media culture study further;fifth,media Culture and Identity Construction.In modern society,the mass media reflects a very powerful and important function——the construction of mass identity and cultural identity,this effect should be stronger than before any kind of cultural forms,the reason is that modern humans is living in a media culture dominated environment and can not get rid of its siege and temptation.Since the 1990s,along with the deepening of China’s social political and economic reform progress,media technology conditions to further promotion and overall steering in the field of culture,media culture grew rapidly flourish and became the focus of attention of many humanities social sciences,also constitute China one of the basic research community as a whole path of popular culture.This paper focuses on fundamental changes of the Chinese media culture production level since the 1990s,and try to explain the fundamental,systemic change of this production level in the formation of a comprehensive transformation of media culture overall appearance and basic logic.Since the 1990s,the whole process of the evolution of Chinese media culture has stage characteristics.From the 1980s,in the process of aestheticism culture production transforming to Consumerism culture production,the production of visual culture,the landscape of cultural production and carnivalesque cultural production can be regarded as culture media production characteristics at different stages with varying degrees of expression.Visual culture production resorts to popular perception,landscape as the necessary means of cultural production,and the carnival of cultural production has become the overall attitude of the media culture production,the three cultural production work together and form a complicated existence in the field of contemporary media culture production.Level of functioning mechanisms of cultural production observed from the media,Chinese contemporary media culture production from existing single dominant politics works toward political and market is dominated by the double linkage mechanism.Production mechanism of market-oriented transformation affect the production of media culture of logic also radically reversed.But at the same time,the production of contemporary media culture is incorporated into the more complex linkage between the operating mechanism,and has also led to media culture showing a political,market-oriented,market-oriented multipolar politics like state.Viewed from the perspective of the structure of power relations inside the media culture production,media culture production showed the evolution of the two trends and direction since the 1990s,namely the power struggle of "political negotiations" and the"business incorporation".On the one hand,the political factors of culture production level also determines the production of contemporary media culture with Chinese characteristics.How to put forward more reasonable expectations to media culture production has become the study of contemporary media culture ultimate end.Perhaps,the highlight and construction of publicity and humanism in media culture production is one of the ways.
