The Study Of Chinese Community Ethics

This paper chooses Chinese community ethics as research subject and focuses on studying the important problems such as community ethics' connotation,Chinese community ethics' historical evolution,contemporary situation and modern construction.This research not only has theoretical significance of developing new field of ethical research,providing theoretical guidance for the modern construction of Chinese community ethics,but also has practical significance of promoting the construction of our country's modern new relationship of community ethics,the construction of modern harmonious society and being favorable for cultivating our country dwellers' spirit of citizenship.The innovation of this paper is defining the community ethics from the perspective of the virtual community and the real community,exploring the functions of community ethics,contemplating the historical evolution of the community ethics from a historical perspective,analysing the contemporary situation of Chinese community ethics by questionnaires,and constructing our country's modern community ethics from the dimension of real community and virtual community.The main opinions and conclusions of this paper are:Community ethics is the sum of all kinds of moral codes and behavior standards which are created,followed,fulfilled by people in the long course of community production and living practice for the sake of regulating the relationship of people in the community,people and the community,the community and the other community.It has the functions of regulating residents' behavior,coordinating human relationship,cohering residents'consensus and strength and regional character,historic character and public character.Examining from the historical perspective,Chinese community ethics has gone through the evolution process from ancient times,modern times to contemporary times.At present,the overall situation of community ethics in our country has shown the positive aspect of respecting the elders,cherishing the youngers in real community,neighbourhood watching and getting on well with others,helping each other in virtual community,also has shown the negative aspect of poor neighborhood,low level of public moral,weak sense of public welfare in real community and bad information overflowing in virtual community.Therefore,in order to eliminate the negative aspects and construct community ethics overall,we should base on the theory of responsibility ethics,caring ethics and communication ethics,adhere to the systemic principle,times principle and the principle of inheritance and reference and concentrate on the community's construction of the real community and the virtual community.
