This paper,based on the research on the Chinese words in Chinese Korean(Korean Chinese character)in two periods-from the initial stage of immigration to the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan in 1945 and from 1945 to 1963,studies the distribution of part-of-speech,word formations,lexical characteristics,the scope of lexical usage,etc.Through the study on the Chinese words in Chinese Korean in special periods,the paper aims to show the changes of Chinese words in the course of history and make clear the development and changes of Chinese words in different historic periods based on the study on the basic forms of Chinese words in the same periods.The documentations of two periods have been collected to classify Chinese words for specific study.The paper studies Chinese word in two periods(hereinafter referred to as "before liberation" and "after liberation" period respectively)and it consists of the following several parts.The first part of the paper mainly classifies the parts of speech of Korean Chinese character before and after liberation for comparison.First,according to the collected corpus,Chinese characters before and after liberation are divided into nouns,numerals,pronouns,verbs,adjectives,adverbs,and articles.Second,comparisons would be carried out on the distribution of the part-of-speech of Korean Chinese characters between the two periods,with the differences listed accordingly.The second part of the paper describes the ways of word formation,Chinese idioms,etc.of Chinese words in Chinese Korean before and after the liberation.First of all,this paper compares the word formation patterns of the synthetic Chinese words before and after liberation.Secondly,it lists the prefixes and suffixes of Chinese characters used in the two periods,and examines the scope and characteristics of the use of Chinese affixes.Finally,the idioms and loan words used before and after liberation are listed with descriptions of the differences and characteristics.The third part of the paper compares Chinese words in Chinese Korean before and after liberation from the perspective of sociolinguistics.The paper examines the post-liberation Chinese characters by dividing the words into general vocabulary,new terminology,and professional terminology,among which,1667 specialized terms are classified into such aspects as politics,economic production,transportation,culture and education,and military,listing the different morphological features and lexical range with that before liberation.Pre-liberation days saw more Chinese words related to the migration history and Japanese aggression in the Chinese Korean.However,after the liberation,the political and economic Chinese characters related to the construction of the socialist system accounted for a large part.As language and social environment are closely connected,human languages are subject to constant changes and development as society evolves.Chinese Korean originates from the Korean Peninsula,but it has formed its own unique vocabulary system in the context of China.In general,by examining the development of Chinese character words in two periods,this paper reveals the influence of different periods and different social environments on vocabulary production,and further explains the lexical features,constitutional patterns and forms of the Chinese Korean.The paper,which is guided by cultural linguistics,statistical linguistics,and diachronic linguistics,describes and explains the variation of Chinese words in Chinese Korean before and after liberation.The results of this study will help determine the process of the change of Chinese Korean and at the same time provide a basis for better understanding and mastering the lexical features of Chinese Korean.
