The Acupoint And The Method Of Acupuncture And Moxibustion Of Dou Hanging

Dou Hanqing,who lived in Jin and Yuan Dynasty as a noted acupuncturist,has a strong clinical feature in the acupoint and the method of acupuncture and moxibustion.He played an important role in the history of Chinese acupuncture academic theory.The Biaoyou Fu,Tongxuan Zhiyao Fu,Jiaojing Baxue and Shouzhi Buxie in the book of Zhenjing Zhinan were his famous writings.A thorough and comprehensive study was essential.At present,the research mainly concentrated on one text of Zhenjing Zhinan,payed more attention to the two poetries and Jiaojing Baxue,and studied the acupuncture method and acupoint separately.The other works of Doutaishi Zhenjing,Panshijin Zhici Michuan,Zhenjiu Jicheng and Zhenjiu Yulongjing were less concerned,the comprehensive study was less.This subject was to fill this gap.We studied the acupoint and the method of acupuncture and moxibustion of Dou Hanqing with the multiple texts.The main research materials included Doutaishi Zhenjing,Zhenjing Zhinan,Weisheng Baojian,Jisheng Bacui,Zhenjiu Yulong Jing,Panshijin Zhici Michuan,Zhenjiu Jicheng,Zhenfang Liuji,and so on.Meanwhile,the classical books of Acupuncture was compared with these texts,including Huangdi Neijing,Nanjing,Huangdi Mingtangjing,Wang bing' s annotations on Suwen,Suwen Liuqi Xuanzhu Miyu,Qianjin Yaofang,Qianjin Yifang,Taiping Shenghuifang,Suwen Wangpian Cifalun,Tongren Shuxue Zhenjiu Tujing,Zhenjiu Zisheng Jing,Bianque Xinshu,Ziwu Liuzhu Zhenjing,etc.When we studied the book of Zhenjiu Yuanshu,these books of Shisi jing Fahui,Shenying Jing,Zhenjiu Juying,Zhenjiu Daquan,Zhenjiu Dacheng,Qixiao Liangfang,Xinkan Yixue Jicheng,Xuegu Zhenze,Zhenjiu Shenshu were used.The method of bibliography was used to find the relevant contents of Zhenjiu Yuanshu.The method of literature was used to collect the predecessors' achievements in the research of Dou Hanqing,to learn from the previous research results,to understand the research status.The method of medical historiography was used to compare,analyze the source and composition of the Dou's texts,to know the development and sum up the theoretical characteristics.The method of text occurrence provided a new perspective to establish a dynamic research model of the acupuncture texts,helped to make the development of the Dou' s acupuncture theory clearly.The philosophy of science and technology provided the thinking material to study the background and formative factors of Dou Hanqing' s acupuncture theory,and the technique of Shouzhi Buxie and Touxuefa.Firstly,the cultural subject of Cheng Zhu' s Neo-Confucianism and the intercourse of Dou and Fan Zhiying was studied.The book of Doutaishi Michuan Mihua Zhenjing Qiongyao Baojian was based on the adaptation of Yulong Ge.Secondly,the theory of Dou' s Acupoint was understood by the name,location and indication of acupoints.Thirdly,the Method of Dou' s acupuncture and moxibustion was analyzed by Zhishen Deqi,reinforcing and reducing manipulation,acupoint to acupoint penetrative needling,bloodletting method and moxibustion method.The comprehensive study of the Acupoint and the Method of Acupuncture and Moxibustion of Dou Hanqing was made with the horizontal comparison and vertical comparison.The theoretical of this research was a further clarification of Dou Hanqing' s acupuncture theory characteristics,which will contribute to more comprehension of the development in Jin-Yuan Dynasty.The practical significance laid in the improvement of understanding in the acupoint and the method of acupuncture and moxibustion,which will be helpful in clinical application.
