The sustainable development of cities in China faces serious problems,like energy shortage,the contradiction between land supply and demand and deterioration of ecological environment.The high energy consumption of the transportation system,large-scale land occupation,and high pollution are particularly prominent.Although the electric vehicle are called energy saving and emission reduction currently,these vehicles have not solved the problems of energy shortage and environmental pollution fundamentally with the coal-based energy structure in China.Transportation land has not been fully developed and utilized for a long time,and there are serious wastes and idle phenomena.The backwardness of traffic planning thinking also limits the idea of solving traffic problems to a certain extent.Therefore,the transformation of innovative planning for energy and land use in transportation systems has become necessary.Inspired by the concept of productive city,the paper started with the exploration of the production potential of the transportation space,and proposed to make full use of the transportation space to develop renewable energy planning strategies,trying to alleviate the problems faced by the current urban and transportation systems.The research included the main chapters on relevant theory and practice,renewable energy production strategy in the transportation space,the relevant potential analysis for China,and the construction strategy of the planning system.Firstly,the paper combed the influence of urban planning theory on the concept of transportation planning,and analyzed the productive changes experienced by the transportation space under the influence of productive city and related theories,especially the innovation of renewable energy production.The foreign relevant practice mainly went through three stages: practical conception,exploratory practice and largescale practice.The progress of new technologies is also an important part of the planning practice.Secondly,the research classified the transportation space suitable for renewable energy development,and analyzed its definition and characteristics for different spatial types.According to the different types of renewable energy technologies and their application locations,the research proposed four integrated methods: direct utilization,spatial combination,waste into treasure,and hybrid utilization.Aiming at the energy development strategy of integrated transportation space,the research put forward the basic way of utilizing the space along the traffic corridor,the reuse of urban traffic stock land,and the combination of traffic space and renewable energy development.Thirdly,the study analyzed the feasibility and potential of China's transportation space renewable energy production.Although there are no relevant legal provisions in China directly supporting the development of relevant research and practice,there are policy orientations and backgrounds suitable for its development in both renewable energy and land intensive use.The research use GIS,PVsyst and other software to quantitatively simulate the solar power potential in Chinese transportation space from the macro,meso and micro levels.The research results show that there were considerable traffic land area in China,and there was considerable potential for solar power generation on these land,which was very suitable for this project.Finally,the research proposed the strategy of renewable energy planning for transportation space.From the aspects of planning intervention,planning orientation,planning objectives and characteristics,planning technical process,development management and potential influencing factors,the main links in the planning process were carried out to establish a planning system suitable for China.Combined with the planning and practical experience of the United States,it compared the similarities and differences between China in terms of laws and regulations,planning position,and summarized its important enlightenment to China.The research inherited the innovative ideas of productive city,summarized the international advanced research theories and practical experience,quantitatively analyzed the energy potential of transportation space in China,and proposed the planning strategies to promote future transportation and renewable energy planning,to provide constructive and innovative reference recommendations,to accelerate the sustainable development of cities in energy,land,economy and society.
