Grassland region has unique society,economics,population and natural environment,such as low population density,few towns,low traffic flow,long distance roads between most connecting towns,incomplete facilities,small change of landform,less vegetation species and low coverage rate,and simple landscape environment.In view of the dual impact on fatigue between the long driving distance and the monotonous driving environment on grassland roads,it is easy to induce psychological and physiological fatigue of drivers,which will reduce drivers' ability to control,judge and make decisions,and thus bring serious safety risks to grassland highway transportation.Drivers in the fatigue state with a long time will cause fatigue accumulation,if not timely rest and disposal,these endanger driving safety and drivers' physical and mental health.At present,researches mainly focus on fatigue detection during driving,and there is no research about the fatigue recovery characteristics of drivers at rest on grassland road.In terms of the relationship between fatigue and recovery,understanding the recovery process of driving fatigue is as important as detecting driving fatigue.The recovery characteristics of driving fatigue was mastered,the continuous driving time and rest time was arranged scientifically and reasonably,which can reduce effectively the phenomenon of driving fatigue and solve fundamentally the traffic safety problems caused by driving fatigue.There is great theoretical and practical significance for the scientific formulation of the driving rest system,the establishment of service areas,the alleviation of driver fatigue,the enhancement of fatigue recovery quality,the guarantee of driving safety,and the promotion and improvement of traffic safety laws and regulations on grassland highways.Aiming at the driving fatigue problem was solved effectively on grassland highway,the driver of driving on grassland highway was as the research object in this project,based on psychology and physiology state data of driver,the study method was used such as the simulation experiment,theoretical analysis and driver's subjective evaluation,the driver fatigue recovery experiment when resting was designed,the short recovery law under different degree of driving fatigue at rest was studied,various factors influence on driving fatigue recovery was analyzed,and recovery characteristics and physiological mechanism under different degree of driving fatigue was revealed.The main research results were summarized in this paper as follows:(1)Combined with psychology and physiology significance of Electroencephalogram(EEG),Electrocardiograph(ECG),and Electromyogrphy(EMG)indicators,principal component analysis method was used,and sensitive index was determined which can effectively characterize driver fatigue recovery features in the simple landscape environment on grassland road.The sensitive indicators of Psychological fatigue recovery include beta average power(?),(?+?)/?,LF/HF,SampEn.The sensitive indicators of physical fatigue include IEMG and MPF.(2)The value of ?,(?+?)/?,LF/HF,SampEn,IEMG and MPF index showed obvious linear change in the fatigue recovery period,and the recovery speed of each index was faster in the early stage of fatigue recovery.However,the recovery ability of each index tends to flatten in the same period afterwards in the case of severe fatigue when the recovery reaches 80%level,and the longer rest time has little impact on the fatigue recovery.(3)Objective recovery time of drivers' psychological fatigue was respectively that mild fatigue was 6min,moderate fatigue was 18min,and severe fatigue was 21 min.Objective time of physiological fatigue recovery of drivers was respectively that mild fatigue was 12min,moderate fatigue was 24min,and severe fatigue was recovery 80%.The recovery time of psychological fatigue was earlier than that of physiological fatigue.(4)The subjective fatigue recovery time of drivers was respectively that mild fatigue was 6min,moderate fatigue was 15min,and severe fatigue was 18min.It was seen that the subjective fatigue recovery time of drivers is consistent with the objective fatigue recovery time under mild fatigue.In the case of moderate and severe fatigue,there was a certain difference between subjective fatigue recovery time and objective fatigue recovery time and the former had the earlier phenomenon.It was confirmed the necessity of determining the fatigue recovery time based on the driver's psychological and physiological signals once again under this phenomenon.(5)The driver's age,gender and driving experience had no significant effect on the recovery of psychological fatigue and leg muscle fatigue under mild driving fatigue,but had significant effect on the recovery of neck muscle fatigue and waist muscle fatigue.The recovery of neck muscle fatigue and lumbar muscle fatigue of young drivers was earlier than that of middle-aged drivers.The recovery of neck muscle fatigue and lumbar muscle fatigue of male drivers was earlier than that of female drivers.The recovery of neck muscle fatigue and lumbar muscle fatigue of skilled drivers was earlier than that ofunskilled drivers.(6)The driver's age,gender and driving experience had significant effect on the recovery of psychological fatigue and physiological fatigue under moderate driving fatigue.The recovery of psychological and physiological fatigue of young drivers was earlier than that of middle-aged drivers.The recovery of psychological and physiological fatigue of male drivers was earlier than that of female drivers.The recovery of psychological and physiological fatigue of skilled drivers was earlier than that of unskilled drivers.(7)The driver's age,gender and driving experience had significant effect on the driver's psychological fatigue and the recovery of neck and leg fatigue under severe fatigue,but had no significant effect on the recovery of the driver's waist fatigue.The recovery of psychological fatigue and neck and leg muscle fatigue of young drivers was earlier than that of middle-aged drivers.The recovery of psychological fatigue and neck and leg muscle fatigue of male drivers was earlier than that of female drivers.The recovery of psychological fatigue and neck and leg muscle fatigue of skilled drivers was earlier than that of unskilled drivers.
