With the rapid development of the world economy,the problem of the environment and climate is becoming more and more serious.The treatment of global warming has almost been becoming the important cutting-edge issue in each field,which leads and affects the development and the human living environment.So the requirement of mitigating global warming can not wait.Based on the earth engineering,this paper puts forward a new scheme of the huge space shield(HSS)through the control of the space astronomical solar radiation,which takes advantage of the space tether system.And the design of the relative structure and the problem of its orbit and shield efficiency are made a deep research.Then the dynamic simulation and the preliminary ground principle test are carried out.First of all,according to the mitigation of global warming,the concept of the HSS is proposed based on spatial shielding and tethered system,after compared with available various measures and methods.The system can avoid negative problems,has ability of self-deployment and self-balance and can be applied for a short period.And then the sub-systems of the shielding surface,tethers and pulling device are formed separately and the function and component of each sub-system are expounded as well.Considered the calculation characteristics of the astronomical solar radiation intensity,an interactive software is designed to improve the real-time computer speed.Secondly,through the feasibility analysis of loading and deployment,the size of the deployable rigid structure and its connection joint is confirmed.By using the method of discrete approximation,the tether tension of the rope sub-system is calculated and the result is compared with the one of simulation.By using the finite element analysis method,the whole force deformation of the HSS is discussed.The analysis results show that the structure design of the system is feasible and stable and the whole deformation of it is within the allowable range of the material.Thirdly,the dynamic equation of the HSS is established by using Lagrange's equations of second kind.Though the force analysis of the HSS on circular and elliptical orbit,“particle-rod” and “cone” models are established separately and dynamic simulation is also completed.So the working process and characteristics on orbit are analyzed thoroughly.Theoretical analysis and simulation results jointly show that no matter the circular or elliptical orbit the system travels on,the normal operation of it does not affect.And the self-balance and self-stability problems of the huge space shield can be solved by the method of the space tether system.Thus a stable flight process of the system is formed and it can maintain the proper shape.Fourthly,according to the function of the huge space shield,the shielding effect of the system in a long period is evaluated by the “air+earth” model.And the relationship between solar constant and astronomical solar radiation is introduced in the process.The meteorological data of the specific region is dealt with by the method of multiple linear regression and the evaluation equation of the effect of the special area is obtained for the space shield surface.At last,on the basis of the design of the system structure and the simulation analysis,the overall technical scheme of the principle and efficiency test about the development of HSS on the ground is put forward and a scale model experiment is developed based on the similarity principle.The experiment on the principle development test on the ground verifies the feasibility of the huge space shield.And it shows that the deployment process of the system is correct with the simulation data.Further it proves that the principle is right,the structure is reasonable,and the simulation model is correctly available.At the same time,the efficiency test also proves that the efficiency analysis method is correct and the result shows the system in the space can work.
