Because of increasing turbulence,heightened competition,and unpredictable change at work,fostering employee creativity is valuable to organizations because it fundamentally contributes to competitive advantage.Under the new circumstance,the promotion of creativity has been a strategic task of the economy.The level of creativity has been the key element of the success of modern companies.And individual creativity even is the core force in the innovation of modern organizations.The promotion of creativity could lead to innovation and the emergence of excellent scientists,inventors,experts and entrepreneurs.Meanwhile it also inspires dreamers to try their best to succeed.In that sense,the promotion of individual creativity is extremely important.Scholars however have conducted lots of research on creativity theories,and the driving force of individual creativity still needs further exploration.More concretely,research based on the mediation of information exchange and information elaboration on the influence of goal orientation on individual creativity is relatively scare.Therefore,based on theories of individual creativity,goal orientation,information elaboration,team information exchange,motivate information processing and epidemiology,this study analyzes the mechanism of influence of goal orientation on individual creativity,builds a theoretical model about their relationship,empirically examines this model,builds a dynamic influence model based on the epidemiology which is based on dynamics,simulates this model using MATLAB software,finally gives some measures and advice about how to improve individual creativity in modern companies.This study is divided into four sections.The first section describes the whole core theoretical framework.The second section dives into in-depth research which is supported by section three and four.Section three continues the research agenda with theoretical building.Section four,based on theoretical research,explore the application aspects to locate empirical foothold of this study.The details are as follows.Section One,Theoretical Model Construction About Cross-level Influence of Goal Orientation on Individual Creativity.Based on theories of individual creativity,goal orientation,information elaboration,team information exchange,motivate information processing and epidemiology,this section builds the theoretical framework of cross-level influence of goal orientation on individual creativity,which is the core theoretical framework of this dissertation.Firstly,based on the relevant research home and abroad,this section builds a theoretical model on the influence of goal orientation on individual creativity.Secondly,it analyzes in-depth the cross-level influence of team goal orientation on individual creativity,individual goal orientation on individual creativity,the indirect effect of information elaboration and information exchange between the goal orientation and individual creativity.Finally,fifteen hypothesizes are advanced based on the above analysis and the path model is built.Section Two,The Examination about Theoretical Model of Cross-level Influence of Goal Orientation on Individual Creativity.Based on the hypothesizes advanced in Chapter Three,Chapter Four empirically examines the cross-level theoretical model,which will support the contents in Chapter Five and Six.Firstly,this section designs questionnaire and choose proper samples to collect data to define some constructs.And descriptive analysis,credibility and validity analysis are conducted on the collected data.A cross-level model aggregation examination on the cross-level model using SPSS and HLM software then conducted including the examination on the fifteen hypothesizes.Finally,a concrete analysis and discuss on the empirical results from multilevel and its causes.Section Three,the Dynamic Influence of Goal Orientation on Individual Creativity.Referring on epidemiology based on systematic dynamics,this section explores the dynamic influence of goal orientation on individual creativity.Based on the results of Chapter Three and Four,this section transplants epidemiology based on systematic dynamics to pave the way and thinking for further modeling.And a dynamic influence model about the goal orientation and individual creativity is built.The rules of transformation are made with parameters.After that,the balance points and thresholds are theoretical explored.The inner mechanism of thresholds is analyzed and all parameters in the model are set.Finally,based on the results of simulation,an analysis on dynamic analysis on the relationship between goal orientation and individual creativity from multi levels is conducted,which provide theoretical support for Chapter Six.Section Four,the Advance on Promoting Individual Creativity in Modern Organizations.This section firstly points out the delimit about how to promote individual creativity in modern organizations and advances a “1234” management system on individual creativity in modern organization.Based on motive information processing,the individual information elaboration and team information exchange subsystem then is built,which support the promotion of individual creativity.After that,this section gives some strategies about how to promote individual creativity from team and individual perspectives and their application according to different strategies from multifactor which could influence goal orientation,such as implicit ability,personality trait,achievement motivation,self efficacy,capability instinctive,motion tendency,organizational environment and home context.Finally,four supportive measures are advanced to promote individual creativity.The theoretical contribution and application of this dissertation are as follows.On the theoretical level,it promotes the construction of individual creativity theoretical system,extends the application of information exchange theory and information elaboration theory in the domain of individual creativity,and provides a dynamic perspective for strengthening the research on the influence of goal orientation on individual creativity.On the application level,it can guide modern organizations to improve the systematicness of individual creativity management,to build the complete supportive qualifications for the promotion of individual creativity,to choose wise application strategies about individual creativity and to adopt reliable safeguards for individual creativity.In the future,research could take more potential mediators into consideration and focus on the attribute variables of individuals to extend the influence of goal orientation on creativity.The other extending aspect is that a more widely measures about promoting individual creativity can be advanced by incorporating more nor profit organization samples and simulating in-depth with the consideration of repetition sensibility.
