The structure of enterprise technological capability is the logical starting point for enterprises to participate in external cooperation and knowledge internalization,and it is the internal cause of the innovation performance of industry university cooperation.To fully grasp the overall process of the "capability structure-cooperation behavior-enterprise performance",in-depth analysis of enterprise's technological requirements,capability structure is critial.Therefore,this article uses the literature research and case study method to deconstruct the dimensions and contents of enterprise technological capability structure as the core of the SCP(Structure,Conduct,Performance)model.The essential problem is further divided into two sub problems:1)In Chinese environment context,what are the connotation,dimensions and elements of enterprise capability structure?2)how do different technological structure affect enterprise' UIC practices,and its performance?In order to solve the above problems,this paper discusses the following three sub studies.Firstly,the research is conducted based on the stage of development and technology attributes of public goods as the classification standard.The enterprise technological capability is divided into proprietary technology,applied generic technology and basic generic technology;the mechanism of the SCP analysis framework for the technological capability of the enterprise structure are analyzed based on multiple perspectives;through qualitative analysis,the key elements of eight factors are evaluated by in-depth case study in Guangdong province.Secondlly,study is conducted based on the above exploratory case study,to further analyze the key elements,and refined six dimensions:R&D investment,personnel input,project level,research institutions,industry standards and performance output,and 44 efficiency indicators.The implementation of the evaluation of enterprise technological capability structure adopted the above dimensions and indicators.Through the questionnaire survey,180 enterprises surveys are obtained.By using SPSS software,K means(k-Means)method of questionnaire data clustering analysis,the structure of technological capability of the enterprises in Southern China area are evaluated.The study effectively segment the structure of technological capabilities of 180 enterprises in China,and this contributes to the construction of enterprise technological capability for further study.At last,the implemented multivariate statistical analysis is conducted to evaluate 180 enterprise surveys,in order to find out the relationship between enterprise technological capability and UIC.In the research field of inter organizational cooperative relations,many scholars mainly focus on enterprise ability can bring performance improvement(Cao et al.,2009),but lacking of pertinence through analyzing the how differences of enterprises technological capability can bring the different effect on UIC.Compared with the existing research,this paper has the following innovative work:firstly,identify and evaluated the definition and dimensions of technological capability structure in Chinese context;secondly,theoretically discusses the logical relationship between the structure of the technological capabilities of enterprises cooperation,and examines the different cooperative interaction under different enterprise technological capability structure.Through the above research work,this paper obtained the following research conclusions,also constitutes the main innovation of this paper:(1)Deconstruction key elements of the Chinese technological capabilities of enterprises from the perspective of technological capability structure.This study has expanded the research perspective and dimensions of technological capabilities of enterprises.It stresses out the mechanism of different types of technological capability structure,and deepened the construction of the UIC,SCP framework.The results show that the influence key elements have certain degree o impact on capability structure,they are:R&D investment,personnel input,project level,research institutions,industry standards and performance output,these factors affect on enterprise technological capability structure differently.This finding builds connection between the connotation of the research for enterprise technological capability of the fuzzy theory(Mary,&Marina,2010),established the connection between ideas,provide the technological capability of the multidimensional enterprise framework.On this basis,we can explore the relationship between the various dimensions of the evolution of technological capability,and the synergy mechanism of the enterprise innovation capability.(2)The study sets up the measurement framework of proprietary technology,applied generic technology and basic generic technology,and enriches the empirical research method of evaluation of enterprise technological capability and achievements in the field.In this paper,the measurement model of enterprise technological capability structure is built.In this model, the first dimension is based on the conception of the technology development process,and the combination of Lall,Tassey and Li Jizhen's findings,that indicates the different technology demands of the development process,;the second dimension is based on the elements view,which combined with Teece,Wei Jiang,Xu Qingrui 's research results,analyzes the elements of different stages of technological capability,so as to realize the measurement and evaluation of enterprise technological capability structure.Specifically,by using the six elements of R&D investment,personnel input,project level,research institutions,industry standards and performance output measures the technological capabilities of enterprises.Through cluster analysis,the research results show that the structure of enterprise's technological capabilities divided into three categories,which are proprietary technology,applied generic technology and basic generic technology,and the three kinds of enterprises have different technical characteristics.Moreover,the development of the enterprise technological capability structure measurement index,laid the foundation for the mechanism of enterprise technological structure and university industry cooperation analysis,and also provides reference for the quantitative study of related technological capability field.(3)Clarify the cooperation behavior in "structure-cooperation-performance" analysis framework,and the relationship between the technological capabilities of enterprises,UIC and its influence mechanism on corporate performance from the theoretical and empirical aspects.The study expands the theoretical and empirical research on inter organizational cooperation method.The results show by choosing different ways of cooperation,the enterprises along the different technological capability path can bring different influence on enterprise financial performance and innovation performance.The innovation research reflected in:1)demonstrated that the enterprise technological capability structure as the logical starting point of technological innovation,which affect the cooperative choices;2)on the basis of this,points out the enterprise performance is also affected by different technological capability structure.The research results have further verified the cooperation path and mechanism under the framework of SCP,and provides new empirical research evidence on how enterprises of different technological capability structure to choose cooperation;3)the moderating effect of government investment between UIC and enterprise performance has been further analyzed.
