Some issues of disordered and repeated construction exist in the planning and development of regional logistics hubs, which lead to wasting society recourse and low efficiency for the operation of regional logistics network. The one of major reasons is the insufficient research on the rules of the forming and evolution of the logistics network and hubs,as well as on the theories of regional logistics hubs planning from the macroscopic view.As a result, the planning and development of regional logistics hubs in our country are short of hierarchy and systematicness. Therefore, this thesis deeply studies these problems including the mechanism of regional logistics hub development, evolution model, evaluation system for hierarchical division on logistics hubs, cluster analysis, and dynamic planning the logistics infrastructure in the logistics hub.The main researches are as follows:(1)The thesis distinguishes some conceptions including regional logistics, logistics network, logistics hub, logistics infrastructure, etc. The thesis synergistically analyzes some issues of reginal logistics hubs including the structure elements, configuration modes, characteristics and main functions of logistics hubs.(2)The thesis deeply analyzes the evolution mechanism of regional logistics network structure from the view of regular pattern for regional logistics development.Firstly, the thesis studies the external influence factors for the regional logistics network evolution.Secondly, the thesis analyzes the dynamic evolutive mechanism of regional logistics network, focusing on interaction mechanism between logistics nodes, agglomeration and diffusion, scale economy of network, and node competition.Thirdly, the thesis analyzes the forming mechanism of regional logistics hubs, focusing on forming mechanism of regional economical evolution, based on unban area and logistics elements interaction.Fourthly, the thesis studies the evolution phases and approaches.Fifthly, the thesis does research on the evolution basis of logistics hubs.Sixthly, the thesis studies the development modes of logistics hub cities.(3)Based on the evolution mechanism, the thesis builds three evolution models:regional logistics network evolution model based on time series analysis, based on nodes attraction, and based on disequilibrium weight for lines between nodes. The outcome shows that the evolution of the regional logistics network based on node development will push the logistics networks become scale free networks, namely, the network structure with multi-levels.Therefore,the three models explain and demonstrate the evolution mechanism and characteristics of regional logistics hub structure that the former chapters have expounded.(4)This thesis builds the evaluation system of macroscopic hierarchical classification for regional logistics hubs, and makes cluster analysis.Firstly, the thesis analyzes influencing factors for hierarchical classification of hubs, and then adopts factor analysis to select and optimize factors in order to build the evaluation system.Secondly, the thesis makes cluster analysis to classify logistics hubs in a region.(5)In the regional logistics network, the logistics hub supports the cargo flows among various regions through multiple transport modes such as railway, highway, waterway and pipeline to achieve overall efficient operation. Therefore, the planning of this type of facilities requires the decision makers to consider not only the present demand but also the future needs. This research models a public regional logistic hub with consideration of multi-echelon and multi-period of a capacitated logistics network. This hub considers three time phases based on logistics demand increment in accordance withthe characteristics of five-year planning. The problem is modeled using mixed integer linear programming.By applying greedy heuristics method, particle swarm algorithm and enumeration method, this thesis identifies the location of logistics facilities at different echelons of a supply chain and determined the needs for facility expansion or closing at different time periods.
