Because of the rapid development of the communication technology, short-range, low-speed and low-price wireless technology attracts lots of people. ZigBee is a kind of short-range communication technology that has many characteristics like simple-usage, low-speed, low-energy-consumption, low-price and so on. Because of these characteristics, this technology is being widely applied in many fields like industry control, household automation, medical protection, smart agriculture, household goods and remote measurement. Moreover, in industry control, household automation and remote measurement and control fields, the pre-applied wireless communication technology like Bluetooth is difficult to be applied, the transferring range is too short and the formation structure of network is too small. But the appearance of ZigBee technology, all these disadvantages can be covered.In this paper, based on ZigBee deep and standard analysis, all problems like ZigBee address assignment, clustering, routing are analyzed in detail and it is pointed out that ZigBee standard in adress assignment has some weak points and improved address extension mechanism in ZigBee wirless sensor network and its routing algorithm are proposed.The improved mechanism and routing algorithm have been systemized and simulation is taken to prove the efficiency of the improved mechanism. The main achievements in this paper are as following.1) The one way of extensible distributed address assignment mechanism in ZigBee wireless sensor network is proposed. The distributed address aissignment mechanism that is proposed by ZigBee standard has some weak points; the problem of depth extension, waste of address and lackage of address and so on. First, ZigBee distributed address assignment mechanism and its weak points are analyzed, based on the study of pre-taken research in the ways to cope with these problems, and the one way of extensible distributed address assignment mechanism is proposed. This method is an unequal address assignment against the whole network topology because the equal tree has to be formed at very first time and the new equal tree has to be added as the network expands. In this proposed method, because of address package and the necessity of the network usage, the class cluster tree is formed suitably and in every cluster ZigBee distributed address assignment mechanism is used without any changes. The simulation is programmed by using MATLAB and the success rate of the address assignment mechanism of the proposed method is confirmed. The simulation result shows that compared to ZigBee standard distributed address assignment mechanism, the extended address assignment mechanism that this paper proposed^ has high address assignment rate.2) The one way of ZigBee routing algorithm using neighbor node is proposed. One of the main points of ZigBee protocol is to transfer data without any disturbance of time, location and other conditions. ZigBee distributes the address in order according to the depth and routing is processed based on this. ZigBee standard processes routing using hierarchical routing and routing discovery algorithm. The weak point of hierarchical routing algorithm is that because it is using hierarchical cluster tree, the destination node is in one hop distance and if it is not connected with cluster tree structure, it is unable to transfer data and it has process long-distance transfer through parents node and coordinator. In order to solve this problem, routing discovery proposes communication alogorithm between nodes that are in one hop distance, but still it has some weak points. In this paper, early research to improve ZigBee routing is analyzed and one way of routing algorithm using neighbor node that neighbor node table has, is proposed. The optimization of early ZigBee routing is taken so that the efficiency of network can be improved and the energy consumption in the whole network can be saved. The benefits of this proposed method is proved by simulation. The simulation result confirms that the proposed mechanism decrease the numbers of hops of data transmission and energy of transmission compared to hierarchical routing and routing discovery.3) The one way of Cluster head replacement delay mechanism by proxy transmission is proposed. After every location of every node is confirmed, because the electric cells can't be exchanged it's very important to manage the energy effectively in wireless sensor network. In ZigBee stadard, because all nodes form a unequal tree, and based on this tree, data transmission is processed so the energy consumption of cluster head is much more and death speed of it, is much quicker than ordinary node. In this paper, among those bunch of early studies about effective energy routing protocol, research about routing protocol based on large amount cluster, tree and chain is studied and in order to use energy effectively, clustering method is proposed. To decrease the death speed of cluster, this method forms the equal energy consumption in the whole network at the first stage of clustering and in order to reduce the energy waste due to the frequent reformation of cluster, proxy transmission and cluster head replacement are processed by using two thresholds. The advantage of this method is fully proved by simulation. The simulation shows that compared with traditional ZigBee standard, LEACH and PEGASIS, the proposed mechanism decrease the de.ath speed of node and improves the life spin of the whole network:4) The system has been realized by mixing these three methods. In this paper, in order to improve the function of ZigBee, three main protocols about ZigBee; expanded distributed address assignment mechanism, ZigBee routing algorithm using neighbor node table and cluster head replacement delay method based on proxy transmission, are proposed. In this paper, clustering, address assignment mechanism and routing algorithm of ZigBee protocol, that is mixed up these three methods, is studied and the advantage of the whole system is fully proved by simulation.
