A Study On Science Attitude And Its Influencing Factors Of Primary And Middle School Students In Southwest Ethnic Regions Of China

There is a contradiction: on the one hand,science and technology in the social development of the force is growing;the other hand,the ethnic areas of science and technology talent shortage,the public scientific quality is low,the traditional technology disappeared more and more prominent.We can find that this contradiction behind the modern sense of "science and technology" and the traditional culture of the conflict.Researches on current situation and influencing factors of students' science attitude of primary and middle school in ethnic regions are not deep and systematic enough.Therefore,study of students' science attitude and its influencing factors in primary and middle school in ethnic regions has theoretical and practical significance.Around science attitude and its influence factors,the study carries out in these three areas:The first study grasps current status of "science attitude" of the primary and middle school students in southwest ethnic regions,basing on investigation method.The scientific attitude includes the attitude of science and the attitude of science.The former refers to the "science" of the object of the attitude;the latter refers to the attitude of the formation of a scientific process of the object,both a total of 16 dimensions.According to this dimension,using the Likert 5 scale method to prepare the scale,after the initial test,correction and revision,the reliability and validity of the requirements of the Southwest minority areas of primary and secondary school students attitude measurement questionnaire.A sample of primary and middle school students was collected from seven cities(states)in the southwestern ethnic minority area by stratified sampling method,and 3920 valid samples were obtained.SPSS17.0 statistical software was used to analyze and analyze the data,and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)the overall score of primary and secondary school students in the southwest minority areas is 3.51 points(the highest score is 5 points,the lowest is divided into 1 point);(2)There are no significant differences between ethnic students and Han students,and no significant difference between ethnic regions students and Han region students in the overall score;but the score of ethnic students is higher than that of Han students in "emotion at science","tendency to engage science","skeptical tendency","non-subjective ","loyal to the truth";the score of ethnic regions students is higher than that of Han regions students in "emotion at science " and " non-subjective ".(3)There are significant differences in science attitude between primary school students and middle school students,but science attitudes between junior high school and senior high school students are of no significant differences;"cognition of scientific knowledge","cognition of scientists' view"," cognition of the value of scientific knowledge"," be faithful to the truth","enlightened mind" increase as the learning phase promotes;but the "emotion at science content","emotion at scientists","emotion at science teaching"," tendency for science careers","tendency for science inquiry " reduces as the learning phase promotes.The second study research on the influencing factors of the scientific attitude of primary and middle school students in southwest minority areas and the direction and size of the influencing factors.This paper puts forward the influencing factors of the scientific attitude of primary and middle school students in the southwestern ethnic minority areas by means of the combination of theory and literature combinometry,questionnaire survey and field investigation,and combined with the scientific attitude measurement scale to form the questionnaire of scientific attitude and influencing factors of primary and middle school students in southwest minority areas.The structural model of the scientific attitude of primary and middle school students in the southwest minority areas was obtained by using the structural equation model analysis tool AMOS 17.0 to process the collected data,The study reaches the following conclusions:(1)Overall,"human environment" and "school education" are the interrelated primary independent variable,both of which have a direct impact on "attitudes towards science","scientific attitude";"attitudes towards science " directly affect the "scientific attitude";(2)"human environment" has a large positive effect on "scientific attitude",but a small negative effect on "attitudes toward science ";(3)"school education" has a large positive effect on "attitudes toward science”,but a small negative effect on " scientific attitude ";(4)the scientific attitude of the minority student groups has stronger instability,the minority students' response to the " human environment " and " school education " is more responsive than the Han students;(5)Cultural environment "," school education " factors in the development of scientific attitude of primary and secondary school students have a stronger initiative.The third study indicate the way of scientific education in minority areas is put forward according to the unique environment of ethnic areas.Therefore,in the ethnic areas with unique natural and humanistic environment,science education should start from the "cultural" return of science,pay attention to the cultural background of students in ethnic areas and take the initiative into the humanistic environment.Specifically: in the training objectives,to take the "localization" of the road,in the completion of the national curriculum objectives on the basis of the region to reflect the needs of the nation's culture;in the curriculum and teaching,take the "diversification" The choice of course content,teachers' cultural awareness,teaching strategies and methods of choice,to avoid a single,unified requirements,according to their own environment.On the basis of the empirical research in the southwestern ethnic minority areas,this paper discusses the scientific attitude and its influencing factors of primary and middle school students in the southwestern ethnic minority areas,and puts forward that the scientific education in the ethnic areas should establish the concept of " human ",starting from the "cultural" Concerned about the cultural background of students in ethnic areas.This idea provides a way to deal with the relationship between modern science and technology and traditional national culture in ethnic areas,and also provides a direction for the development of education in ethnic areas.The Study concludes that a science attitude is a complex process affected by a lot of factors,the model and conclusions proposed in this study require more revisions of theory and tests of practice.The mechanism of action,specifically in how different nationalities,different cultural environment,different school education effect science attitude in deeper dimensions in this study has not been able to get a better solution.The conflict and fusion of modern science and traditional culture in school education of ethnic regions and in ethnic students' "brain" is a problem that is worth further study.
