On the basis of research findings and other fields, this investigation of questionnaire surveyed the gymastic attitudes of Middle-School students and the influencing factors. The main research programs are: first, to survey the characteristics of gymastic attitudes of female and male students; then to find out if there is any difference between the dimensions of gymastic attitudes of female and male students and the overall collectivity; at last to study if the education-background and economic condition of the parents cound affect the gymastic attitudes of students or not.This investigation, through questionnaires of parents and students, is made by ATPA and self-made questionnaire. By distributing the different questionmaires to male and female students, the gymastic-attitude surveys are made in 6 dimensions, the social intercourse, the physical and mental health, the self-discipline, the aesthetic judgment, the mental relief and the pursuit of excitement, of the students. The investigating target is 400 students (200 males and 200 females) from 43rd Middle School of Shen Yang, and the grade one and two of the junior department of the Affiliated School of Shen Yang Normal University. The mathematical analysis is made by using interrelated theories and SPSS 11.0 statistical software; statistical analysis is made by using the single factor analysis of variance and the Pearson Correlation Index.The conclusion of this research:The general sequence of the gymastic attitudes of Middle-School students is: the physical and mental health, the social intercourse, the self-discipline, the mental relief, the aesthetic judgment and the pursuit of excitement. In the dimensions of the gymastic attitudes, the scores of male respondents from the excellent to the poor is: the social intercourse, the physical and mental health, the self-discipline, the mental relief, the pursuit of excitement and the aesthetic judgment; the scores of female respondents from the excellent to the poor is: the physical and mental health, the social intercourse, the mental relief, the aesthetic judgment, the self-discipline and the pursuit of excitement. The male students show balance in every aspects, but the female students only show prominence in physical and mental health.There is no obvious difference between dimensions of the gymastic attitudes of female and male students and the overall collectivity.It showed no correlativity between the education background of the parents and the dimensions of gymastic attitudes of female and male students and the overall collectivity; no correlativity between the economic condition of the parents and the dimensions of gymastic attitudes of female and male students and the overall collectivity; no correlativity between the gymastic attitudes of the parents (and education technologies of the parents) and the dimensions of gymastic attitudes of female students and the overall collectivity; no correlativity between the gymastic attitudes of the parents (and education technologies of the parents) and other dimensions dimensions of gymastic attitudes of male students and the overall collectivity, except in the aspect of the social intercourse.
