The number of minor crimes has been inhibited effectively in China since 2009 but the situation of the lower age is becoming more severe. In the paradigm of traditional juvenile criminal justice studies, the research of younger delinquent juveniles is beyond the scope of criminal justice because they should not bear the criminal responsibilities. In the juvenile justice research paradigm, the study of minor crime inherits the viewpoints of juvenile criminal justice study. Then the research of juvenile misbehavior focuses on the age over 14 years old. So the study of education and correction of younger delinquent juveniles is in a blank stage. In the actual operation of correction, the original corrective mode is not suitable for younger delinquent juveniles because of the revision of the law and the reformation of corrective institution. As a result, The practice of correction for younger delinquent juveniles is in a blank state where the parents, schools and society cannot discipline them respectively. Centered on the specific group — the younger delinquent juveniles,this paper makes a systematic theoretical analysis on the basis of the diversified and open horizons of education and correction, exploring the corresponding strategies and paths.The education and correction of younger delinquent juveniles is a multidisciplinary and comprehensive problem. It is essential to break the disciplinary barrier and then to discuss its value presetting, value commitment and orientation from the horizon of diversified great education and based on the ultimate concern for education and correction. Then this paper establishes the happy growth as the value noumenon of education and correction in younger delinquent juveniles. From the ontological commitment of value orientation and on the basis of the quantitative analysis of the reasons for younger juvenile delinquency, it further investigates the strategies and paths of education and correction in younger delinquent juveniles so as to achieve the purpose of mind turn.The first chapter analyzes the historical development and current situation of education and correction for younger delinquent juveniles.The wide acceptance of both the cognition of children concept and the educational ideology of criminal positivism school provides the theoretical foundation for juvenile justice. By use of the literature research method, this chapter summarizes the characteristics of juvenile justice system and the current classification of juvenile justice, analyzes the development process of the cognition and correction method for younger delinquent juveniles in China and finally finds the existing problems of education and correction.The second chapter focuses on the theoretical research of the education and correction of younger delinquent juveniles.It investigates the particularity of younger juveniles through analyzing their activity placesand cognition characteristics.The research and reason of criminal behavior by use of social anomie theory, theory of differentia and social tie theory provide the epistemology, methodology and referential thoughts of criminal analysis and research for exploring the education and correction of younger delinquent juveniles.Starting from the ultimate concern for education and correction, we carry out the ontological study on its value and propose that the happy growth is the value noumenon of education and correction.The third chapter makes a quantitative analysis of the causes of crime in younger delinquent juveniles through using Chinese Adolescent Students' Life Satisfaction Scale (CASLSS) and Positive And Negative Affect Scale-Revised (PANAS-R) as standardized questionnaires. The main conclusions are as follows:Subjective well-being was negatively correlated with younger juvenile delinquency. Among them,in the emotional experience evaluation, the positive emotion experience was negatively correlated with younger juvenile delinquency,while the negative emotion experience was positively correlated with younger juvenile delinquency. The total score of life satisfaction evaluation was negatively correlated with younger juvenile delinquency.Among the six dimensions of life satisfaction,friendship and freedom satisfaction were positively correlated with younger juvenile delinquency, and family, school, learning and environment satisfaction were negatively correlated with younger juvenile delinquency. The life satisfaction can predict the minor crime.The logistic regression model is built: logist (P) =13.025+0.47xfriendship satisfaction-0.44xfamily satisfaction-0.374xacademic sati sfaction+0.256 x free satisfaction-0.290 xschool satisfaction-0.265 x environment satisfaction.The fourth chapter discusses the education and correction strategies of younger delinquent juveniles from the following four aspects: legal education,traditional culture, personality perfection and ecological coordination.One is to discuss the strategy of legal education from breaking through the bottleneck of school legal education, cultivating the legal consciousness, strengthening the citizen consciousness and establishing the legal belief. The second is to discuss the strategy of rule of virtue based on traditional culture from "morality-primary and punishment-secondary",moral self-discipline and virtue consciousness. The third is to discuss the strategy of rule of mind based on personality perfection from "nourishing mind", "cultivating mind" ,"transforming mind" and "correcting mind". The fourth is to discuss the strategy of comprehensive management based on the ecological structure of education and correction from the upbringing strategy of optimizing the micro-system focused on family, the integration and interaction strategy of paying special attention to school education and the guiding strategy of purifying the network and media of social education. These four aspects constitute the systematic and logic scheme of education and correction and the content system.The fifth chapter explores and analyzes the paths of education and correction in younger delinquent juveniles.Firstly, it discusses the path of education and correction from the perspective of possible delinquent system. After comparing the connotations and correction methods of the delinquent system and China's Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency Law, it puts forward the path of perfecting the education and correction mechanism from the following four aspects: establishing the jurisdiction agencies with"prior rights",expanding the scope of social survey, perfecting the redirection system and reforming the reformatory education. Secondly, it analyzes the thematic pathway choice of education and correction from "benevolence", "justice", "self denial" and"integrity". Thirdly, it explores the process path of education and correction according to the following five aspects: the earlier regular education, the family guardianship with the intervention of public rights, the consistent legal education, the targeted characteristic education and the younger delinquent juveniles-centered subjective education.Fourthly, centered on the happy growth of younger delinquent juveniles promoting value construction, it probes into the regression road of the value subject of education and correction from the following four aspects: remodeling the ontological role of education and correction, promoting the transformation of happiness view of younger delinquent juveniles, enhancing the educators' perception of happiness and happiness view, constructing the educational and psychological environments beneficial to younger delinquent juveniles' growth.
