In China's modern and contemporary film&television literature history,film-teleplay novel,as a unique creative phenomena,is an objective existence.It has contributed actively to the creation and development of our native film and television play's creation and development,and added fresh subjective content and creative pattern for our film and television literature.It is an indispensable part for film and television art and an organic component for modern and contemporary literature.However,it has not got necessary and enough attention for a long time.And few scholars summarized its creation achievement,paid attention to its status and value in the history of film and television and the history of literature,combed its development and evolution,and investigated its creative rules.So,to study on the literary phenomenon of film-teleplay novels is very meaningful and valuable for the clarification of Chinese modern and contemporary film and television literature history's development,representation of Chinese modern and contemporary literature history,broadening film and television history's research scope,summarizing historical experience and lessons of film and television creation,enlightening and promoting the development of the current film and television literature and art.Film novel is the integration of movie and novel,and has dual attributes to literature and film.It is both the significant pattern of film literature and an all-new genre of fiction art.Teleplay novel bases itself on the text adaptation and re-creation of TV play or TV script,similar to film novel in creation pattern,stylistic form and essential features.Film-teleplay novel is the conventional short term of film novel and TV novel for speaking convenience.There are two basic principles distinguishing whether it is a film-teleplay novel: one is that its creation must be the transcription and re-creation on film,TV script or video text;the other is that its creative time must be in the film and TV production process or after the completion of filming.Only by doing so,Can we root film-teleplay novel's original source,clear the misunderstandings in the recognition of film-teleplay novel and lay solid foundation for maintaining its purity and independence.The generation and development of Chinese modern film novels is closely bound to the generation and development of Chinese modern film and modern novel.In the early 1910 s,the “film drama novel” adapted from foreign films and represented byZhou Shoujuan etc.provided important inspiration and reference for the early film novels in China.While the film original story,the early form of the film novels,and the “film drama novel” adapted from native Chinese films began to appear in the early1920 s.After the 1930 s,film novel became a new literary species and was recognized by the literary circle.In the late 1940 s,the film novel further matured and opened the first climax of development.After liberation,the film novel entered a slow development stage.Under multiple extrusion,the “17 years” film novel like a dancer with heavy chains danced difficultly and moved forward tortuously on the stage of“brilliant” and “bleak” formed by special politics,culture and art.Film novel in the new period experienced a slow and hard recovery,but there was not a large-scale and systematic creation.After the 1990 s,especially since the beginning of the new century,the film novel presented a complete new,different style and characteristics in the joint induction and shaping of the two-way “collusion” between the film of the video text and the literature of the paper text.And it promoted the second development climax of film fiction.The relative backwardness of the development of TV dramas in China results in the birth of teleplay novels nearly seven decades later than movie novels.It was not until late in the 1970 s and early 1980 s that it appeared.Teleplay novel experienced a rapid rise in the 1990 s after a brief silence in the 1980 s.The writers before the 1990 s who were ignorant of stylistic consciousness,rough in art level and low in market acceptance gradually moved towards a stage of maturity and prosperity after the 21 th century in which the writers had style creation consciousness,skillful mode of operation,excellent masterpieces.Teleplay novel and film novel have gradually replaced the script of film and TV in the new century,becoming the most important type of film and TV literature.On the basis of analyzing the evolution of film novels and film-teleplay novels,summarizing its law of development and then establishing the systemic growth pedigree of the film-teleplay novels,after deeply studying the strategies and characteristics of their style construction from the point of view of style,we found that film-teleplay novels not only drew lessons from the techniques of image narration,but also gives full play to the advantages and disadvantages of the art of novels.It combined image with literature.Therefore,it has become the typical representative that the film and television influence on literature,and the “fine son” of the combination of film and television with literature.The film-teleplay novel is the novel text form that is most abundant in film and television genes,most deeply influenced by film and television,most diverse in the forms of film and television art and most mature in techniques.Among them,montage,known as “the soul of the film”,as the most basic lens language of the film,has the most extensive and far-reaching effect on the film-teleplay novels.In addition,according to the space structure form and thevideo-audio technique of the film and television,the film-teleplay novel broke the logic and continuity of the novel by intentional fall,reset,crossover,fragmentation and others in space,and rejected the traditional single time-linear narrative model by the multiple space overlapping,juxtaposing,crisscrossing and others.It highlighted the synchronic and contemporary “spatialization” narrative effect,and showed the artistic skills and aesthetic characteristics clearly different from the traditional novel.It became the most prominent representative of the spatialization of modern novels and it was also one of the uniqueness and regularities of film-teleplay novels different from other novels.Literary activity is essentially a kind of communication activity.Investigating the production and operation of film-teleplay novels from their outside ecological field,we found that the press that the main body is that the media had a pivotal and indispensable impact on the production and development of film-teleplay novels.Especially since 1990 s,a series of institutional and institutional reforms of publishing houses,which are the active subjects in the production of spiritual products,have not only provided important guarantee,but also stimulated inexhaustible impetus for the prosperity of film-teleplay novels.At the same time,among these three major related subjects in the production chain of film-teleplay novels--the producer of film and television plays,adaptor of film-teleplay novels and the publisher of books as the medium of materialization,the adaptor directly determined the artistic standard and market value of film-teleplay novels,and the producer of the film and television gradually occupies the dominant position with its extensive market influence and strong financial strength.In accordance with the production law of film and television drama,the creation law of novel,“three laws”---the law of book publishing,these three subjects worked together,integrated mutually,and fully mobilized all the resources,with their strong endogenous drive,to participate in the production and marketing of film-teleplay novels,so as to promote the rapid development of film-teleplay novels in the new century and go toward a comprehensive boom.
