Research On The Construction Mechanism Of Chinese New Words In The New Age

There have been many achievements on related research of Chinese new words,regardless of theoretical research or words differentiation.The rapid development of social economy in the new period and the increasing popularity of network systems have changed the communicative way and the words in life.In this development process,people’s communications and writing have emerged a great number of Chinese new words,this phenomenon has aroused widespread concern of scholars.Through analyzing and studying the mechanism of new words formation,regulating the use of words and phrases in our language,and further regulating our expressions and writing behaviors,it has an important significance of history and practical guidance for the cultural heritage and development in our country.At present,the research on Chinese vocabulary has made great achievements.It provides a theoretical basis for vocabulary system construction,dictionary compilation,and Chinese language teaching.In the vocabulary research system,the current study of word-building is relatively basic,especially the study of the word-building mechanism of new words,which is still not systematic and professional.Most studies of new words creation now focus on the form,external reasons and sources of Chinese words formation from the perspective of morphology.In general,these studies still have some limitations,and there is no explanation about internal mechanism of new words creation systematically.Therefore,the author of the thesis uses Chinese lexicology and Chinese linguistics as basic research theories.At the same time,he draws lessons from cognitive linguistics,etymology,cultural linguistics,sociolinguistics,and philosophy of language and so on.Through collecting,organizing,and contrasting a complete new sample material library.Using the actual new words data as material,the internal mechanism of new words is combined with theoretical data to classify the research into the categories of vocabulary traceability,standard use,and realistic guidance.The whole article is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.This chapter introduces the research background of Chinese word building in the new era.Under the background of China’s reform and opening up,the economy continues to develop,science and technology continue to improve,and new words also appear in daily life along with time changing.Especially in the 21 st century,a new batch of vocabulary has appeared with the popularity of network information.This is a concrete manifestation of social changes and changes of times in terms of vocabulary words.This chapter defines new words.Firstly,the research status of new words in each period is introduced from three stages of development.Secondly,the definition criteria and sources of new words are introduced,and new words are analyzed through tthe structural style of new words.The research direction of current new words and expressions is mainly elaborated from aspects of rhetoric,multidisciplinary integration,class affixes,Chinese word formation and normative research.At the end of this chapter,the author analyzes the current source of corpus and begins to conclude,classify,and summarize the materials based on this,thus forming a corpus of material in the new era.In the second chapter,the author summarizes the achievements of scholars of Chinese neologisms,and summarizes them from the aspects of the academic attention of new words in Chinese,the method of creating new words,the statistics of authors for creating new words and so on.The disciplines,publications,and numbers have been statistically analyzed,and the major research results of the current Chinese new words have been obtained,and the existing deficiencies in many studies have been analyzed.Through the above research,the author can conclude that the original linguistics will be used as the basis for creation in the current economic development and social development degree,and at the same time,comprehensive factors such as electronic computers,information networks,and new media skills will be used.It will have a major impact and change on the knowledge structure of the creation of Chinese new words in China.The third chapter is to study the motivation of the formation of new words in Chinese.The background of the appearance of new Chinese words is generally a dramatic change in the political,economic,and cultural aspects of the country.New concepts,new things,and new ideas are constantly being produced.Therefore,language has also produced a large number of new words following these changes.The generation of new words is mainly in the following ways:(1)Reorganize the original linguistic principles according to a specific relationship.(2)Deviations from the original language rules.(3)Old words with new meaning.(4)Word fusion.In the course of continuous collision and fusion of these words,they map out the internal development track of linguistics;in addition,implicature,connection,activation,and suppression are all internal conventions for the appearance and use of new words.Usually,the first activated vocabulary has heterogeneity.It suddenly appeared because of that,and then it was recognized and named by everyone.Many new vocabulary words in Chinese are based on the activation of implied words and meanings,which are achieved through the cooperation of the two statutes of inhibition and linking.It promotes the appearance and use of new words and promotes the change of the internal system of words together with the external forms and meanings.The new words are mainly developed from association and analogy.The development of Chinese vocabulary has gone from being few to many,one meaning to multiple meanings,and language association has played a promoting role in its development.Similarly,analogy not only plays an important role in Chinese — both in terms of word formation,phonology and other changes,but also is reflected in the changes of the new words meanings.The fourth chapter analyzes and studies the morphological features of word formation and its variation in Chinese new words.This paper studies the formation and variation of new words from the features of word formation,variations in Chinese grammar,variations in word-making vocabulary,motivations of Chinese linguistic variation,normative principles of the use of new words.The development of language is mainly reflected in the variation of words.There are two reasons for the linguistic variation.On the one hand,it is the external motivation such as language contact,social development,and pragmatic psychology;on the other hand,there are internal motivations,such as constraints on the structural elements of language,or the role of language factor analogy.The variation of word-building vocabulary is mainly reflected in the appearance of new morphemes in new words which changes the vocabulary system.The variation of the word-making grammar,of which the performance of the new words and phrases is very obvious in the new period is the change of the polymerization relationship and the combination relationship.The specific features are the changes in morphology and the increase and decrease of grammatical categories,as well as the development and changes of the word classes.Vocabulary variation is the process of continuous development and transformation of society.It is a process of giving new meaning to old words.This mechanism will not die out,and it will still be one of the main mechanisms of word formation in the future.The fifth chapter mainly studies the combination of Chinese word meaning and rhetoric word formation,and deconstructs the morpheme word formation.The author uses the word-making method as the basis of the study to analyze the characteristics of the word-making method in the creation of the word-writing process.And also studies the combination of the meaning-building and the rhetoric and word-making mechanism.The author concludes that any method or rule cannot completely explain the process of word-making in the modern and high-paced life.Creating new words is a product of a combination of methods and materials in life.The author mainly uses non-categorization theory to analyze the great role of the non-categorization in the process of creating words.The author concludes that the morpheme is static in the process of creating a word,but for some reason it has a dynamic change of meaning and belongs to a new category attribute.This section mainly focuses on the formation of words in the sense of meaning,words and sentences and semantics,and analyzes the entire operation process of new word construction and the types of cooperation mechanisms.Rhetoric and word building are mainly new words formed by metaphor,metonymy,and parody.The new words formed by metaphors and borrowings have the characteristics of the times and their meanings are vague.The extension of the concepts that they express lacks clear boundaries.Most of the objective things are temporary or short-term social things.There are correspondences between the parody-type new words and the prototype words,and there are three aspects of sound,shape,and meaning,and their means of word-formation is abundant.The sixth chapter mainly discusses the word-making mechanism of online words.With the rapid development of modern Internet,the main mode of cultural spread is through the media.With the spread of new media,the frequent appearance of online words makes people also used them in life widely,and they can also react to the media.So,online words will quickly and extensively penetrate into every aspect of people’s lives in such an environment.This chapter studies the scope and status of online words and the characteristics of new words on the Internet,and discusses and analyzes them in categories.Generally speaking,popular words that can be widely circulated on the Internet are mainly constructed by using the following methods: using phonetic alphabetic homophony,English alphabetic abbreviations,combinations of numbers and letters,and combinations of numbers homophony,spelling of letters homophony,Reading,imitation or tuned reading,metonymy methods,metonymy and misappropriation.The influence of the Internet is undoubtedly enormous.It also accelerates the modernization of Chinese language and makes the meaning of Chinese more abundant.Although network languages are flexible,they also have unfavorable effects because of lack of normativeness.The seventh chapter mainly discusses the significance and influence of new words on the development of Chinese language.Language is the most important communication tool for human beings.The new words in the new era have distinctive characteristics of the times.Through the study of the structural mechanism,the creation of new words has come into being.Different from the traditional Chinese construction methods,it enriches the Chinese vocabulary system and plays an important role in the development of modern Chinese.The rapid development of information-based society has prompted many new words related to the Internet.The construction and perfection of multimedia and self-media platforms have provided more channels for the creation of new Chinese words.People can use abundant vocabulary on virtual networks to express personal feelings,appeals and wishes.Nowadays,a large number of new words have emerged,some of which have been precipitated as a common language of the modern Han nationality.The use of new words can provide reference for the compilation of dictionaries.Analyze the positive and negative effects of new words on the development of Chinese,and then put forward normative suggestions.The author believes that the number of new Chinese words emerging in modern society is increasing.Through the analysis of the construction mechanism of new words in the context of the new period,concluding the structural features,methods and materials of construction,summarizing internal and external influence factors,the author makes every effort to analyse the internal mechanism of making words.The appearance of new words makes the language abundant and colorful,but the standardized use of language in social life can not be underestimated.It is an important manifestation of social civilization in our country,and also is an important issue worth studying.
