A Study On Drama Historical Materials Of Local Chronicles In The Qing Dynasty And The Republic Of China

A large number of historical figures were recorded in the local chronicles that usually as reference materials and cited information for the study on the opera field.This was its informative value,and the main method of the current use in local records fields.Some scholars took drama historical materials of local chronicles as a research object,through the compilation and analysis to understand the history of a place of drama.This method was helpful to face and excavate the value of the materials for drama research.However,the current results were not up to standard.It was can not be convincing that most of the work was to rely on second-hand information,coupled with a brief analysis that is summarized as a overall situation.Moreover,there were many unfinished fields about the topic,not even a doctoral thesis to do a special study.Based on this,these gaps will provide a great chance for my research.This paper had two research perspectives.The first was the perspective of philology,which from the principle of the local chronicles of the revision to explore the regularity and causes of historical records.It was found that the historical material of the play is roughly distributed in the customs,the sacrifices and temple,the artistic records,the financial records,the characters,the civil affairs and the miscellanies.The quantity is led by the customs,followed by the temple and arts,the rest are scattered.The persistence was generally proportional to the number of drama materials recorded;however the administrative grade of the local chronicles is generally inversely proportional to the number of drama materials recorded.At the same time,the writer's preference for theatrical arts affected the situation of the local records.The local characteristics of the local chronicles also showed the different historical performances of Henan,Hebei,and Shanxi province.In addition to the local churches of their own writing rules,the Confucian ritual system had profound impact on the collection of a large number of drama historical materials.The law of its inclusion reflected the Confucianism that the music system established by the ritual system.Some of the opera material,which was included as a negative textbook,embodied the principle of that the music system was controlled by the Rites.The disappearance of the feudal system promoted the emergence of opera improvement movement,leading to the improvement facts kept in the civilian records.This inclusion reflected the close relationship between drama and rites.On the other hand,the drama material reflected some of the opera problems from their own.Local chronicles as local history books,was the most close to the folk drama of the information recorded.Therefore,the information contained was the general style of folk opera activities.The first of all,folk drama was a big environment including a variety of performances,that the attributes of the hot was the nature of the property.Opera performances as the mainstream form were the mainstay of support and prosperity of folk drama.The relationship between opera and folk arts were very close and could be summarized as the process of construction and deconstruction.Chinese Opera starred in ancient song and dance,designed to play the story,and brought together all kinds of art.After the opera was mature,Folk arts had been influenced by the opera,but still alone.There was a complex relationship between "Song and dance","play the story",and Chinese opera that should be called the relationship of the building and decomposition,which was always integrated in the civil environment.There had a comprehensive interpretation of the performance of folk opera from the actors,operas and the audience.To Henan,Hebei,and Shanxi as the representative of the three regions,we can from the perspective of the local opera and other provinces to analyze the characteristics of each region.The acceptance language of the opera presented the different tastes of elegance and vulgarity,as well as utilitarian and utilitarian aesthetic,regardless of which were the audiences involved in an important process of the dissemination and achievement in drama.The main spread body of folk opera was the all kinds of folk artists and class organizations.From these aspects of analysis,opera actors,works and the audience in the civil environment could be achieved a complete process of art communication.This was also the opera performance in the folk drama in the three-dimensional state of activity,which the drama presented in the folk drama in the art of three-dimensional space.Of course,the spread of opera art and reception also needed an important venue.The performance space must first be of a physical nature,such as the high stage in temple,temporary build of the stage,or the theater in the city.According to the analysis of complex elements of space,physical space was also attached to the social space,spiritual and cultural space and other properties.This was clearly reflected in the temple stage,that a small stage of the title could be able to reflect the profound social and cultural factors.At the same time,the temple fairgrounds and all kinds of folk rallies also revealed the social properties of drama.Thus,the folk opera environment,actors,operas,spectators and performance venues were in the community,and had a very close relationship with political,economic,and culture.Because of this,the drama information could be included in the local records.
