The Song Dynasty is the most important change and transition period in the process of the development of Chinese history and culture.The unique trend of Neo-Confucianism has a profound effect on the transformation of Chinese Confucianism,and has played an important influence on the literati painting which originated in the Song Dynasty.The study of Neo-Confucianism and literati painting has always been an important field in the study of Chinese thought history and painting history,but there is no breakthrough in the research on the connection between the two studies.In the past research,the attention of the literati painting often falls on its aesthetic painting and painter's painting theory.Some scholars have seen the influence of the Neo-Confucianism on the literati painting,but also mostly from the fusion of Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism The ideological aspects of talk,not from the vertical development of literati painting to see the impact of Neo-Confucianism on literati painting.This kind of limitation restricts the overall research on the literati painting.Therefore,this article takes the spiritual pursuit of the writer of the literati painting as the breakthrough point,expounds the important role of Neo-Confucianism in influencing the rise of Chinese literati painting consciousness,and expounds the literati painting from the aesthetic spirit and aesthetic function The aesthetic orientation,the development of techniques,and the profound influence on the development of later writers.The formation of literati painting is inseparable from the political,economic,cultural,educational and academic development of the Song Dynasty,with distinctive characteristics of the times and the spiritual characteristics of the literati,which has an immeasurable impact on the development of Chinese painting.There is an intrinsic relationship between the Neo-Confucianism and the aesthetic spirit of literati painting.Neo-Confucianism can be said to be one of the sources of thought and development of Chinese literati painting.Therefore,we should start from the origin of Neo-Confucianism in the Song Dynasty to trace the rise of literati painting consciousness,and pay full attention to the influence of Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism and Lu Jiu-yuan on the spiritual tendency and artistic pursuit of literati painting.Su Yu as the representative of the Yuanyou scribes group,put forward different from the previous painting ideas.From Guo Xi's "Lin Quan Gao Zhi",Dong You's "Guangchuan painting Postscript",Han Zhuo's "complete set of mountains and rivers" to the Huizong period compiled "The painting in Xuan He " and so on,then the masterpieces of painting As its fundamental purpose,from which all show the Song Dynasty Neo-Confucianism on its theoretical traces.After the Southern Song Dynasty,Cheng Zhu Neo-Confucianism eventually formed,and occupy the mainstream ideological position,and then the development of Lu Jiuyuan as the representative of the branch of science-psychology,and literati painter's spiritual pursuit of more closely.The influence of the calligraphy of the Song Dynasty literati painting respected the plain naive style,in the painting in the performance of "gas","meaning","rhyme",emphasizing "poetry and painting of all",pay attention to the symbolic meaning of painting and spiritual pursuit,The spirit of the times and aesthetic ideas,and gradually promote the Chinese painting poetry,books,paintings,India blending,for the full prosperity of Chinese painting laid an important foundation.In the Yuan Dynasty,many painters,including Ni Zan,influenced the painters of the Ming and Qing dynasties,Dong Qichang,Shen Zhou and Shi Tao.They were influenced by Buddhism and Buddhism.Reflect the light of the thought of mind.The main content of this paper is to discuss the relationship between the birth of Confucianism and literati painting and
