Aesthetic Study On Chinese Modern Travel Notes

Chinese modern travel note is an important literary genre, which, in modern prose history, is considered to have higher creative quality and artistic achievement, and also to be rich in aesthetic value. Its aesthetic observation and artistic depiction, not only reveal the splendid objective world, but also reflect the aesthetic insight and creative character of the subjective visitor, and create a brilliant aesthetic state where subject and object interact and mutually generate.Therefore, in this paper, the Chinese traditional aesthetic topic of artistic state is introduced, from the angle of dialectical unity of subject and object, with the method where subject grasp the different aesthetic style of object, divides the artistic state of modern travel notes into three types:physical environment, emotional state and artistic concept.Physical environment, is the aesthetic discovery which focuses on natural object; emotional state, is the aesthetic reform which focuses on object empathizing; and artistic concept, is the aesthetic exploration which focuses on philosophical understanding. The division of three types bases on how the subject grasp object from different focus points, and their ’separation’ and ’mutual penetration’. There’s no superior or inferior, but differentiate in the depth of artistic concept. The picturesque lifelike physical environment, the poetic emotional state, and the artistic concept where object and self unite, each has their own unique artistic intention and aesthetic characteristic, and show the diverse, creative and modern quality the modern travel notes pursuit aesthetically.In this paper, the theoretical methodology of literary aesthetic, tourism aesthetic and culture poetic are integratedly utilized, to construct the study form where aesthetic subject and object interact and mutually generate, and through selecting and interpreting a batch of travel notes which has their own representativeness, inquire into the aesthetic characteristics of physical environment, emotional state and artistic concept in modern travel notes, excavate the aesthetic consciousness and demand, and the aesthetic mastering and artistic expression of life and society of modern people, explore the aesthetic characteristic and meaning of modern travel notes, and thus promote the aesthetic study of modern travel notes.
