The Song Dynasty biography in this paper specifically refers to some biography of characters or Personification works,which created In the name of the biography and included LeiZhuan which published separately or ZhuanTiWen which been in corpuses.The Song Dynasty biography was important part of the ancient biography.It is also the important part of the Song Dynasty prose study.We take the Song Dynasty biography as research object and want to make clear the development of biography,to study important types of biography,to summarize literary value and stylistic features and to promote the research of classic biography works in Song Dynasty.This paper can be divided into two parts.In part one,The first chapter is Biography Development Before The Song Dynsty,this chapter is to retrospect the origin of the biography from the perspective of style functions and to show the development of the Biography in the idea of the ZhuanShu.The second chapter is The Development Of The Song Dynasty Biography.Literary revolution,national crisis and Confucianism thought were important factors which influenced the development of the Song Dynasty biography.In this chapter,we want to make clear the development of the Song Dynasty biography and to have more comprehensive understanding of the Song Dynasty biography creation.The third chapter is The Type Study Of The Song Dynasty Biography.In this chapter,we want to make clear the origin of biography type in the Song Dynasty,to take some biography works about official,General and monks as main research objects and to show the connotation of the biography value in the Song Dynasty.The fourth chapter is The Style Study Of The Song Dynasty Biography.In this chapter,we plane to study the biographic idea in the Song Dynasty From the perspective of the bibliography division and the anthology compilation,to put forward classification basis and to study the style functions and artistic value.In part two,there are seven Chapters which been included eight writers respectively,suchas Ouyang-Xiu,Sima-Guang,Zeng-Gong,Su-Shi,Hu-Yin,Zhu-Xi,Yangwan-Li,Lu-You and so on.In these chapters,we plane to study the biography creation and to show the main achievement of biography in Song Dynasty.The Song Dynasty biography was double characters with literature and history.It was significance of contemporary for biography that complement with historical and practical using.More and more biography works were appeared in collections and it became the main features for the Song Dynasty biography.Based on the belief of reality,scholars and intellectuals were tried to take biography as prose.It would been reflected in the biography naturally with moral value,Social function and narrative pattern,which been Comnon in the Song Dynasty prose.The development of biography in the Song Dynasty was closely related to the overall trend of literature creation,some famous litterateurs,such as Ouyang-Xiu,Zeng-Gong,Su-Shi,Su-Zhe,they have an impact on the biography of the Song Dynasty.The Song Dynasty biography played important role in the development of the chinese biography.It enriched the historical value of biography and opened the way for the development of later biography.
