Objective:This study will to observe the different effect of acupiont at different part of body and related double acupiont compatibility,and to explore the possible neurobiology mechanism.Methods:The object of this study is the motility of ascending colon,transverse colon,descending colon in rats.The acupoint is ST25,ST37,LI11 and the double acupoint compatibility is double ST25,double ST37,double LI11,ST25+ST37,ST25+LI11,ST37+LI11.First we observe the effect of different acupoint or double acupoints on the different segments of colon,and then we record the electrical activities of left greater splanchnic nerve(LGSN)and left vagus nerve(LVN),to explore the possible peripheral autonomic nerve mechnisam.At last we observe the electrical activities of intermediolateral cell column of the spinal cord(IML),which is the central of sypathemtic,to explore the possible integarating mechanism of double acupoints compatibility.Results:1.ST25 inhibited the motility of ascending colon and transverse colon significantly,and the left ST25 is more efficient than right ST25.Aslo,the ST25 could significantly excite electrical activities of the LGSN,and the left is more efficient than right as well.The effective rate of ST25 on the discharge activities of IML is 87.5%,which is the highest compare to other acupoints.2.LI11 excited the motility of ascending colon and transverse colon significantly,and the right LI11 is more efficient than left LI11.Aslo,the LI11 could significantly excite electrical activities of the LVN,and the right is more efficient than left as well.The effective rate of LI11 on the discharge activities of IML is 58.3%,which is the lowest compare to other acupoints.3.ST36 excited the motility of transverse colon significantly,and the right ST36 is more efficient than left ST36.Aslo,the ST36 could excite both electrical activities of the LGSN and the VN,and the right is more efficient than left as well.The effective rate of ST36 on the discharge activities of IML is 72.9%.4.Double acupoints compatibility of left and right point(double ST25,double ST37,double LI11)aslo could excited or inhibited the motility of colon,but the effect quantity is lower than one acupoint or both two acupoint.Aslo,the double acupoints compatibility could excite the electrical activities of the LGSN or the VN,but the effect quantity is lower than one acupoint.The effect of left and right acupoints compatibility could excited the the discharge activities of IML,and the effect quantity is lower than one acupoint.5.Acupoints compatibility of fore limb and hind limb(ST37+LI11)could affect the motility of conlon,but the effect quantity is significantly lower than one point.ST37+LI11 could excited both electrical activities of the LVN and the VN.6.Acupoints compatibility of abdomen point with fore limb(ST25+LI11),and abdomen point with hind limb(ST25+ST37)could inhibited ascending colon and transverse colon,but the effect quantity is significantly lower than ST25.Aslo,the electrical activities of periphery automic nerve and spinal cord central IML have the same effect.Conclusion:There have different effect between left and right point,single point and double point,abdomen point and fore limb or hind limb.And the effect quantity of double point is always lower than one single point.The different effect may related to antagonistic effect of GSN and VN,or via the the IML-GSN pathway.
