The Study Of The Various Principal Of Prescription In School Of Fuyang At Different Districts In China

Objective:The aim of this study attempts to investigate the rules of prescription in School of Fuyang by analysis the practical cases from different doctors at various districts,which is basis on the theory of Fuyang's school and the classical writing of "Treatise on Febrile Diseases".The similarities and differences of the principal of prescription,which is according to the School of Fuyang,is explored by comparison of the clinical diagnosis and the medication applied to patients within Fuyang's doctors particularly referring to the geographical differences.A comprehensive analysis is deductively concluded and a significant implication is contributed for enhancing the accuracy of further application of theory of Fuyang in different regions in the future.Methodology:For the part of theoretical study,the method of bibliometrics is used to find out the differentiation within doctors in various districts by searching,sorting and deducting the academic literatures from articles,journals and books.The qualitative method is used to analyze the journals of Chinese Medicine in order to find out the perception of doctors towards the School of Fuyang.In addition,the core theoretical framework of Fuyang about the clinical diagnosis and prescription is induced through the qualitative analysis of Fuyang.For the part of studying the clinical cases,there are 284 cases from 10 doctors at 6 districts analyzed.The 10 doctors are Lu Chonghan(Sichuan),Fan Zhonglin(Sichuan),Tang Buqi(Sichuan),Wu Peiheng(Yunnan),Gu Shuxiang(Yunnan),Fu Wenlu(Henan),Li Tonghua(Henan),Zhu Wei Chrysanthemum(Shanghai),Li Ke(Shanxi)and Zhang Cunti(Liaoning).By using the statistical software,the preliminary data is organized for undertaking further descriptive analysis and data inferred analysis.The correlation of diagnosis and prescription,the matching of medication as well as the modification of the prescription is investigated through the comparative analysis in different regions.Result:1.For the part of theoretical study,there are totally 113 of literatures related to Fuyang's School searched from CNN,CNKI and CNNI.48 of them are divided to the theory and 27 of them are divided to the conceptual analysis of the doctors.Another 15 of the literatures refer to the clinical cases demonstration and 8 of them refer the discussion between diagnosis and prescription.There are 5 of them about the dosage of mediation,3 of them about clinical studies and 1 of them about pharmacological research.There are number of articles containing the statistical data about pattern of prescription is only 6 in total.The results show that the literature related to Fuyang had gradually increased since 2004,and the number of literatures had increased to 21 but it had gradually reduced to 4 until 2015.It was indicated that the study boom of Fuyang' s School was gradually cooling down.In the past,most of the papers on Fuyang's School were studied by theory,and there were few studies that included statistical data,and also no regional factors were proposed to the influence of the Fuyang's prescription.2.For the part of studying the clinical cases,there are 284 numbers of medical case study,including 137 of them about diseases,174 of them about record of symptoms,and the cumulative frequency of entry is 2190 times in total.There are 217 numbers of medication records imported and the cumulative frequency of entry is 2804 times.The input of tongue observation is 17 and the cumulative frequency is 737 times.The input of pulse sensation is 18 and the cumulative frequency is 622 times.According to the statistical analysis,it is found that the common characteristics of applying Fuyang' s prescription,which are(1)the appropriate use of Ginger,Cassia and Aconite root(2)the appropriate use of the classical prescription(3)minimum use of herbs with the nature of bitter and cold(4)frequent matching with the herbs with the function of facilitating the digestion.It is found that the differences between doctors applying Fuyang's treatment at different districts.The doctors of Sichuan prescribed(1)precisely(2)widely use of Sini Decoction,and the Decoction of Ephedra,Aconite and Asarum(3)use less herbs with nature of nourishing yin and reducing fire(4)well use of herbs with warm nature for treating pulmonary disease.The doctors of Yunnan prescribed(1)precisely(2)widely use of Sini Decoction,and the Decoction of Ephedra,Aconite and Asarum(3)specially use of Cinnamon(4)producing new way.The doctors of Henan prescribed(1)the application of herbs activating blood circulation and reduce stasis(2)integrating the strength of different division(3)appropriate use of method of latent heat(4)do not avoid using herbs for tonic yin(5)producing new way.The doctors of Shanghai prescribed(1)the minimum amount of dosage(2)appropriate use of method of latent heat(3)widely use of herbs helping regulation qi and relieving dampness.The doctors of Shanxi prescribed(1)the relative larger amount of mediation and the taste strongly(2)frequent use herbs for tonifying kidney(3)appropriate use of method of latent heat(4)do not avoid using herbs for tonic yin(5)producing new way.The doctors of Liaoning prescribed(1)integrating the strength of different division.In conclusion:The results showed that the application of Fuyang is significantly different depending on various regions,which are affected by three factors including(1)regional factors(2)disciple and learning factors and(3)historical factors.The characteristics and differences is thus formed.It is illustrated that School of Fuyang can not be geographically restricted and it is able to apply well in different regions after appropriate adjustments.
